Now reading: Chapter 356: How Are You Sleeping at This Age? from The Witcher: Make the Witcher Great Again, a Action novel by ChaosGod.

Just then, a child asked curiously, "Did Master Lambert get his teacher angry a lot when he was our age?"

At this, all the other children's eyes lit up.

Lambert's eyes widened. He instantly had a bad feeling. He looked at Lynn, blinking frantically.

His worst fear didn't co to pass. "Your Master Lambert was actually a good student. He'd do so crazy things sotis, but for the most part, he was a good student."

As Lynn finished, he saw a relieved Lambert give him a thumbs-up. Lynn smiled. He knew that bringing up Lambert's past would serve no good purpose; it would only embarrass him and interfere with his teaching.

He looked around. "Children, do you see how much Master Lambert cares for you?"

Since even their respected Lord Lynn said so, the children all looked down and said, "Yesss..."

"Then what should you say to Master Lambert now?"

The children turned to Lambert. "We're sorry, Master Lambert..."

"You brats..." Lambert felt a strange mix of emotions. He felt like a different person, just as Lynn had said. In the past, he would never have cared about anyone outside the Wolf School. But now, looking at the children's faces, he found he couldn't get angry.

When Lynn and the others entered the castle hall, it was already full. Besides Mossack, Ged, and Eglais, who had just arrived with him, Tissaia, Oakes, Serrit, George, Eskel, Geralt, and the dwarves—including Zoltan and Yarpen—and the elves they had saved from the non-human settlent were all seated in the hall.

When Lynn, Lambert, and the children walked in, everyone stood up.

"Children, go wash your hands, then you can eat."

The children obediently followed Tissaia. They didn't realize that the wily adults were just trying to get rid of them. Otherwise, why didn't Lynn and Lambert, who had just co in from outside, have to wash their hands?

After the children left, Geralt walked over. "Did Lambert give you any trouble? We already warned him to at least treat you with half the respect he treats Vesemir."

Lynn pretended to be surprised as he looked at Lambert. "I knew sothing was missing from my hocoming. It was your usual trash talk."

"I'll..."

"Lambert!"

At the sight of Geralt and Eskel's sharp eyes, Lambert struggled to hold back his cuss words and his middle finger.

Eskel said, "Vesemir said that if he wasn't around, you'd take his place as Grandmaster. We don't want anyone to think the Wolf School doesn't know how to respect their elders."

Lynn finally understood. "So that's it... wait, why only half the respect he gives Vesemir?"

Eskel burst out laughing. "Did you really expect Lambert to do that? Co on, this is Lambert we're talking about."

This ti, Lambert didn't hold back, flipping both Eskel and Geralt the bird. "You bastards! I'm standing right here! Don't I have any dignity?"

By the ti the children returned with Tissaia after washing up, Lynn had already greeted everyone and taken a seat at the head of the table, which they had saved for him. After he sat down, everyone else took their seats.

"Hmm?"

Lynn noticed that two figures were missing from the crowd. "Are Lady Yennefer and Kassia not here yet?"

Tissaia, who was closest to him, replied, "I'm sure Lambert told you about Kassia's situation. Hers is quite special, so Yennefer is doing so unique training with her. When this training begins, they often stay in the tower for days."

"But you don't need to worry. Before each special training session, Yennefer prepares enough food, water, and necessities to last them for days."

Lynn nodded slightly. He trusted Yennefer. Since Tissaia said they were in the middle of special training, he wouldn't bother them.

"Then let's begin. The food will get cold."

And so, the only sounds in the hall were the clinking of cutlery and the chewing of food. Thanks to Tissaia, the high-level sorceress, Kaer Morhen no longer had to worry about food shortages. She could easily open a portal to the nearest city and have food delivered. Knowing that they had guests, she had prepared a feast.

After everyone had eaten their fill, George stood up and led the children out of the hall to the library. This wasn't just because Lynn and the others had important matters to discuss; it was also the ti for the children to study. There were at least two hours to spare, and they couldn't waste them.

Tissaia held her wand like a conductor's baton, and the empty plates and cutlery on the table seed to co alive, flying in a neat line toward the kitchen. Then, a few rags flew over and wiped the long table clean. After she was finished, the forr rector put away her wand and nodded to Lynn, signaling that he could begin speaking.

Lynn returned the nod, then formally introduced the guests he had brought with him to the others in the castle, and vice versa.

"Lady Tissaia, a pleasure."

"The pleasure is all mine, Master Mossack."

Mossack and Tissaia knew each other, of course. Although Lynn had ntioned before that he wanted Mossack to co to Kaer Morhen to help Tissaia find a way to improve the Trial of the Grasses, when Mossack actually saw the forr rector and realized that Lynn had been telling the truth, he was deeply surprised, even though he didn't show it. The forr rector of Aretuza Academy was not only at Kaer Morhen but also seed genuinely happy to be there.

Tissaia was just as shocked as Mossack. She never thought Lynn could persuade a dryad to co to Kaer Morhen. Especially since before dinner, she had learned from the dryad, Eglais, that the purpose of her visit sothing not hard to discern since dryads never lie was to help improve the witchers' Trial of the Grasses. And she didn't seem to be here against her will. This not only surprised Tissaia with Lynn's cunning, but she also felt relieved that Aretuza had gained such a powerful ally.

As she was thinking this, Lynn's voice brought her back to reality. "Lady Tissaia, if you don't mind, I'd like to know how the second mutation is progressing."

Tissaia's mind flashed back to a few months ago. She first exchanged a look with the other witchers present, noticing their expressions were all a bit tense. She couldn't help but feel a little amused. She pursed her lips, choosing her words carefully. "Well, I happen to have so good news for you."
