Third Person POV

Sea.

...

...

"What is that noise...?"

Hearing the sound, Ciri's sleepy voice ca from the bed as she stirred restlessly, looking at her partner hugging her from behind, enjoying a mont together in that bed, their naked bodies under the blankets after a long night of action.

In the past few days, they had been sailing the sea, heading toward Skellige. There wasn't much to do on a ship, and Ciri practically wanted to start her honeymoon right away, and Madara didn't say no.

Ciri would spend much of the day going in and out of the room, asking for potions to delay any chance of pregnancy, with Yennefer always showing a scowl every ti she appeared with an embarrassed smile.

But the sorceress gave in.

The group kept a bit apart from the crew. Not that there wasn't contact with Geralt, Zoltan, and even the bard often chatted with the people managing the ship.

Madara was more interested in writing new fuuinjutsu seals to replenish his storage scroll while trying to teach Ciri sothing using the sa concept.

Since she could control space, she could use the fuuinjutsu concept to create a space magic for storage connected to her, like Madara used, to make her own, even allowing her to make her weapon appear and disappear from her hand whenever she wanted.

Yennefer had really liked the concept and got interested too, but Madara doubted she could develop anything. But Ciri had so chance.

And most of the ti during the trip, they practically stayed in bed, having sex for hours when there was nothing else to stop them.

They now let their carnal desires drive their actions.

There were no more worries.

There was no longer a war at their doorstep.

There was no longer the idea that you weren't the strongest and were subject to others and difficult situations.

There was no longer the condition where surviving was more important than any other luxury.

Madara was very reluctant about this, ever since he was just a child. Even though Ciri had already shown romantic inclinations since they were just kids living under the castle of Cintra, the queen herself had noticed and hadn't approved at all in the beginning.

Madara didn't seem to care much about it either. All he thought about was getting stronger.

That made him rember... it had been twelve years since he ca to this world. Twelve years since he had beco aware that he was here.

He rembered the ti when all he did was train, train, and train. He'd open the system more to check if he was getting stronger and looked for new challenges.

Even with Ciri always leaning toward him. She had always admired him.

Ciri had held on until two years ago, when they were in Kaer Morhen. Ciri had demanded that Madara make sothing official between them. That he say whether or not they had sothing between them.

He had accepted her feelings at that mont and they ended up living on kisses. Madara had to agree to the teenage girl's demand with hormones running wild.

Madara hadn't slept with her at that mont.

It was only so ti later that he finally took Ciri's virginity. She found it a bit uncomfortable at first, but soon she was looking for him all the ti, while he didn't refuse her either—and sought her out as well.

After all, over the years, Madara ended up accepting that he loved that woman, and he was very satisfied to share the rest of his life with her in this world. He just had to protect her from all the dangers that would surround them in the years to co. But now, they were more than ready to face whatever ca their way.

"What are you thinking about?"

Ciri ignored the earlier noise outside and spoke, starting to turn on her side in bed as she faced him, placing her hand under her face and looking into his eyes.

Madara had his eyes open, staring at the ceiling.

"The past... it's been hovering around us lately," Madara said with his usual indifferent tone. It was the tone Ciri was already used to—that was his way of speaking.

"That's true... were you, by any chance... thinking about us?" Ciri asked suddenly, opening a silly, dreamy smile.

"Yes," Madara replied. He didn't lie.

"You know, Madara, that escape I made to avoid marrying that fat prince and ran into the Brokilon Forest, before eting Geralt, and later, sohow by fate, eting you... it was the best thing I ever did in my life," she murmured, still admiring him with her green eyes.

Madara just gave her a small smile, while Ciri hadn't finished yet.

"You beca my oldest friend. You even made that castle of grandma's, which was full of boredom and annoying rules, more fun."

"Oldest friend? I don't rember you having other friends your age back then. You practically hated the nobles," Madara replied.

"That's true. You were my only friend my age. Most of the nobles were fake, everything had to have an intention behind every action and word—even the children weren't spared from that. And there were those silly girls who tried to dance with you when you started rising in rank. You were different, you never seed to expect favors, all you wanted was to get stronger. But I had other friends too. Don't my servant and the Lord Commander count?" she laughed.

"Indeed," Madara agreed.

"But you didn't just beco my oldest friend. You were the one who helped the most. The one I could count on the most. The one who was there in all the hardest monts. Strong and heroic. Saving people, stopping criminal gangs and assassins, slaying monsters and winning wars.

I felt a little frustrated back then. I was just a little girl from the court, the princess who was supposed to be the kingdom's delight. Wearing dresses, standing still, while waiting for her hero. I wanted to be with you in battle. At least like grandma... No, more than empty grandma... After all, your fights were far greater than leading armies."

"I wanted to be there. To be as strong as you. I didn't want to be a woman who would wait for her husband without being able to do anything else. I was even getting stronger back then, with Lord Commander Varys training . But it wasn't enough. You were becoming more distant, more powerful. And you always said I had the strength and ability for it."

"It was when I trained at Kaer Morhen that my strength started to flow. And certainly, today, I can stand by your side."

She paused.

"That makes very satisfied."

Madara saw that Ciri was simply opening her heart, while he kept his eyes fixed on her, listening.

"Soon we'll be married... my oldest friend, the one who spent the most ti with in my life, my husband, my hero, my battlefield companion."

She laughed.

"Yes," Madara said, wrapping his arm around her and touching her face, caressing her cheek as he kissed her for a few seconds before pulling away slightly.

"But this is only the beginning, isn't it?" she said, looking at him lovingly again.

"Yes. The battles are just beginning. We're still surrounded by enemies," he warned.

"But even so, we'll do it together," she said, taking his hand and squeezing it, feeling the warmth. She couldn't ask for anything better than to be with him.

The man she loved.

Her oldest friend.

Her hero.

Her battle companion.

The one who would share the future with her.

The one who would build a family with her, dreaming of living back in the castle of Cintra, having a good number of children, surrounded by happiness, with the sons as strong as their father and the daughters as strong as she was.

That thought made her smile even more foolishly, while Madara raised an eyebrow.

"Now you're thinking about sothing?" he said.

"Mm... you know, Madara, I wanted to ask: how many children would you like to have?" she asked, still with that silly smile.

"Children? More than one, clearly," he said.

"That's not an answer! You have to say how many you want to have," she insisted.

"It'll depend on you. You know that pregnancy won't be an easy ti. Life will beco monotonous," he said.

"Let it be. It would be anyway. We won't have more adventures when that mont cos. I'll be the Queen of Cintra, and you'll be the King. I'll stay to take care of our children most of the ti. And you'll take care of the kingdom. Cintra will be powerful," she said. "So I can have many children. I'd like to have half a dozen. What do you think?"

She showed her teeth.

"You want to leave the entire responsibility of the kingdom to , Ciri? I would be a consort king—you have the main bloodline."

He was surprised she was giving that up so easily.

"And you think I want that responsibility? That's man stuff, it's exhausting. I prefer to take care of children who look like my husband and maybe take part in so battles when necessary. But the one who'll take care of the kingdom will be you," she said.

"I see." He laughed.

"Alright then. A dozen children it is," he gave his answer, as she nodded.

"Then why don't we just start now with the first one?" she simply demanded, before throwing her arm over his chest and lifting her leg as she straddled him and sat down.

"You can't be serious," he said, as she laughed.

"I know! We're facing elves from another world, dragons, monsters that summon the undead, demons... I get it!!" she replied as if it were sothing grand, while continuing to tease him with her hips. "We can wait a little, but nothing's stopping from bothering Yennefer one more ti."

Madara didn't say no, as Ciri pulled his mber toward her, and just as they were about to start another hours-long activity in bed, right that morning, another scream ca from outside—and it sounded much more agitated than before.

"What is that?" Ciri muttered, displeased, destroying the romantic mood, which was rare to reach that level of conversation.

"Pirates at sea, approaching," Madara said, his ears picking up the shouting outside.

"Seriously? Are you going to do sothing? Not just let the n take care of it?" she muttered, pouting.

"No. I'll handle it," he said, grabbing her by the hips and setting her aside at the edge of the bed, while she sighed in frustration.

"Seriously?" she murmured as she got up from the bed.

"Co on, I'll take care of it quickly. Don't leave the bed," he said as he walked out after putting on a robe, not even bothering to fully dress.

Reaching the deck after climbing the stairs, he found the n in a frenzy. He saw Geralt and Zoltan getting ready for battle, weapons in hand, as they watched three ships approaching them.

"Pirates... let's show these bastards who they're ssing with," Zoltan muttered, while Geralt felt the tension in the air—until he noticed Madara walking up in a robe.

"You're going to deal with this?" Geralt asked as Madara approached. Obviously, they had ruined the mood in the cabin, and he was in a bad temper.

"Of course," Madara replied, heading toward the bow of the ship and jumping up onto the edge.

"Hey! What are you doing, kid?" the sailors were displeased to see Madara there, showing up unard, just in a robe, as if this were a stroll and not a mont where a group of n was about to plunder and possibly rape the won on the ship.

He said nothing—just began forming hand seals before inhaling air laced with chakra. And in the next mont, he unleashed a massive jet of fire from his mouth.

The flas exploded against the water, instantly raising steam, while the fire expanded across the sea, shocking everyone—both near Madara and on the deck. Zoltan jumped back with a shout, and Geralt shielded himself, covering his eyes, while the sailors all scread in fear at the sa ti.

The three pirate ships suddenly saw a giant wave of flas coming at them. They were stunned, not knowing how to react, while so still scread—but not for long.

The flas struck the three ships and incinerated them without any resistance. Steam kept rising from the sea as Madara finally stopped spewing fire. He opened his Sharingan to assess the situation before closing it again.

The three ships had been destroyed, and the n were now screaming and dying, one after another.

Madara turned and landed back on the deck, heading inside the ship again, while everyone around stared at him with eyes full of fear and terror.

"Geralt, can you tell what just happened? That boy is that kind of freak?! Who casts magic like that?!" Zoltan exclaid, unable to believe what he had seen, while Geralt simply sighed.

It was always like this.

There was no one in this world who could witness Madara's abilities without being shocked by the display of power that shattered nearly every rule and balance.
