When Devon told that Dad was finally conscious but asleep, I imdiately ran to his room. Maybe, being with him might stop the nightmares. I slid off the bed and stood beside mom who now had a happy face on. “Can I sleep in here tonight?”

“Diana, there’s no room for that. I don’t want anyone to be inconvenienced or do you want to end up with body pains?”

I grabbed her hand before she could start the whole speech. “But please? I will be very quiet, and I will stay on the rug, and I will be tiny as a mouse.”

“Who said you weren’t tiny?”

“I can be tinier.”

I gave her my biggest eyes. “Daddy and I need each other. I’ve been having nightmares and I think he would want by his side.”

“If we channel in more powers, he might wake up.”

Black Moon stood beside Daddy’s bed smiling at , and the sight of him imdiately filled with dread and fear because absolutely nobody invited this weirdo into my dreams again.
