Lilia’s POV
I stood together with Veronica on top of the building, the cold stone beneath our boots faintly damp from the night air, while we bore witness to sothing that could only be described as a cri. Not the clean, distant kind written neatly in reports, but the ssy, obscene kind that made your brain stall for a mont because it didn’t quite want to accept what your eyes were showing you.
"You’ve gotta be kidding , right?" I muttered, a crooked, twitching smile pulling at my lips. At this point, my face felt like it was malfunctioning, muscles jerking on their own as if they couldn’t decide whether to laugh, scowl, or just give up entirely. "This person really knows how to surprise . I’ve never been surprised three tis in a row in my entire life, and yet here he is, doing it so casually it’s almost insulting."
And it was true.
Right there, under the open night sky, in the middle of the Noble District—where reputations were polished daily and scandals were buried just as fast—the very man the Princess trusted most was having sex in plain view. As if that alone wasn’t enough, he’d already crossed another line by making the woman he was with pee on the Founder of the Milham Kingdom. A statue ant to symbolize pride, history, and dignity. Reduced to... that.
Honestly, if soone told this story instead of letting see it with my own eyes, I would’ve laughed and called it bad fiction.
"You knew about this already?" I asked, glancing sideways at Veronica. She stood beside with her usual calm composure, arms relaxed, eyes steady, as if we were rely watching a street performance instead of sothing that could topple reputations.
"Well, I’ve been observing him for quite a while," she replied evenly. "He doesn’t even bother hiding it. He’s always having sex. And always with different won."
"I see..." I murmured, my gaze drifting back to the scene below. He hadn’t slowed down in the slightest. If anything, he looked annoyingly comfortable. "Tell , he already knows we’ve been tailing him, doesn’t he?"
"Yes. Since earlier, when we were watching him talk with the King of Bethlan."
"I see..." I repeated, more quietly this ti.
"He probably did this on purpose," Veronica added after a brief pause. "Just to show you that he’s soone who’s going to be a real problem."
I let out a faint breath through my nose. "Well, considering everything I’ve already seen from him, it’d be stranger if I didn’t see him as an issue." My eyes stayed locked on him as I spoke. "I’ve learned that not only is he acquainted with that Witch, he’s also the owner of the Leonamon. I still can’t believe soone like him was placed in the Bronze Class. If not for how curious I found him, I wouldn’t have paid him any attention at all... much less find him this interesting."
That curiosity irritated more than anything else. I prided myself on control, on knowing exactly why I felt what I felt. And yet here I was, unable to deny that this man had slipped past my defenses simply by being himself.
If not for the Princess holding this tournant, I never would’ve noticed him. Never would’ve bothered looking twice. It was almost funny how one decision could unravel so many threads.
"Fufufu... I can’t believe the Princess’s plan is actually working," I said, a quiet laugh escaping despite myself. "She’s getting smarter."
Veronica shifted slightly behind , her presence close but unobtrusive. "Do you think she’d make a good king?" she asked.
I blinked, genuinely caught off guard by the question. "A woman has never been crowned king," I replied. "Right now, the candidate is still Prince Julius. The Queen is only holding the reins because he’s not ready yet. Once he is, he’ll take the throne." I paused, then glanced back at her. "Still, I’m surprised you’d ask sothing like that. I never took you for the type. Why?"
"Nothing," Veronica said quickly. "Sorry for overstepping."
"No, it’s fine," I said, shaking my head. "I just found it interesting." After a mont, I added, "Do you want the Princess to rule this kingdom?"
"I don’t know," she answered honestly. "I’ll just follow you, after all."
It was kind of cute, really—your sister willing to follow you even to the ends of the earth without question. At the sa ti, it was a little concerning. Blind loyalty was dangerous. Still, at this point, I decided to let it be. So bonds weren’t ant to be dissected too deeply.
I turned my attention back to the man we were observing. He was still going, still unapologetic, still acting as if the world itself were his personal stage.
That Witch was completely in his grasp.
And beyond her, there were others—strings stretching out to influential people, powerful figures, all subtly tangled around his fingers.
He had relationships with the Princess of Milham and the Princess of Bethlan. I also heard that he was even involved with the Princess of the Beast Kingdom. Any one of those connections alone would’ve been enough to raise alarms.
I wasn’t easily shocked. I’d seen cruelty, desperation, and ambition in all their ugliest forms. But this man... this man managed to unsettle in a way I hadn’t experienced before.
My heart started pounding faster, loud enough that I beca painfully aware of it. Heat pooled low in my crotch.
Annoyed with myself, I slipped a finger between my teeth and bit down lightly, more out of habit than need, while my other hand slid into my pants, touching myself.
I was aroused.
Truly aroused.
And that alone felt wrong.
Up until now, the only thing that could excite was the sight of people struggling. Watching their resistance crumble, seeing the helplessness in their eyes—that was what usually drove to masturbate, savoring their pathetic expressions.
But this... this wasn’t that.
I was aroused simply by watching him.
The man was humping that Witch with raw, unapologetic vigor. There was no elegance to it and no pretense of romance. Just dominance, confidence, and an almost mocking disregard for anyone who might be watching.
And sohow, I knew he was doing it deliberately.
As if he wanted to see every single detail.
You had a good idea of where I was watching from, didn’t you? You wouldn’t choose this place and wouldn’t put on this kind of show, if you didn’t. You made sure there were no shadows hiding anything important.
My thoughts drifted.
What if I were in that Witch’s place? Would I be squealing like a dog too?
I doubted it.
Still... I couldn’t deny that I’d feel incredible.
Eventually, they slowed, the movent below losing its earlier rhythm. It seed they were finished.
I wasn’t. I hadn’t finished.
With a quiet click of my tongue, I pulled my hand out of my pants and looked down at it. Bathed in the pale glow of the moonlight, my hand was soaked, practically dripping with my own juices.
I stared at it for a mont longer than necessary.
I had never been this aroused before. Not once.
"You’re an interesting man, Leon," I murmured, my voice barely louder than the night wind.
For the first ti in my life, sothing thudded loudly in my chest—and I knew, without a doubt, that this wasn’t going to be the last ti he made feel this way.
