Both of them took off faster than the percievable, and then slowed once more at the core of the crater, Ikaris with an upwards slash of her sword and Dina with a downward strike of her spear.
"That was-" Ikaris's eyes widened just a second before impact and she clenched her teeth, grinning when she realised that Dina had made a perfect cast for the second ti since they began fighting. "Sneaky little...!"
"I can't suppress her!!" Dina thought to herself staring through the blinding lights at Ikaris's expression slowly changing from shock to excitent again. "She's like a fucking planet!" The mage cursed, raising her heel and stepping on the spear, freeing one of her hands and pointing it at Ikaris beneath her.
[Judgent-]
[Devour!]
As soon as the lightning ca crashing towards Ikaris she opened her mouth, channeling her mana like tantacles, grabbing hold of the intangible plasma and then swallowing it all.
"What the fu-"
Ikaris put a little more effort into the swing throwing Dina into the air and then dissolving her Sword, stumbling forward with a chuckle before leaping towards the shocked mage.
"Is this what fighting Ikaris feels like?!" Dina crossed her hands, blocking an uppercut that further sent her flying into the air.
"Th-this is ridiculous!" She spun several tis, catching her balance and spreading her arms. "I can't get a handle on what she's gonna do next, every ti I even try to peer into her intent, I get blocked by that strange light!"
"You're thinking about this too much, Dina!" Ikaris laughed, flexing her arms as she approached for another attack. "Just let yourself go and enjoy the mont!"
"I know that already!" Dina snapped, spinning in the air and dropping her heel when Ikaris was within striking range. "But, I'm confused about how I have no idea how to fight you when I have been watching you for years!" She admitted, pointing her hands at Ikaris's exposed abdon.
[Pulsar!]
"That's still overthinking!" Ikaris grabbed Dina's hands and tanked the entire attack in her palm, smiling as she caught the latter's wrist and began spinning with her. "Just let loose!"
"But Atla-"
"Let loose!!" Ikaris ground her teeth and released Dina downwards, causing her to plumt faster than she could recover. "Otherwise, you really might get hurt!"
"Fuck!" Dina snapped just before her back hit the ground of a freshly regrown plain, creating another crater before the whole area was obliterated by Ikaris when another [Pulsar] ca spearing through the air from her palm.
"That looked painful," Yu winced, with Xie, Grecia and Fuhua doing the sa and nodding in agreent.
"Nothing she has not experienced before," Sara coldly retorted, resting her hand on Talia's cheek when she seed on the verge of tears. "Fret not little one, Aunty and Mommy are only playing to pass the ti."
"Otay," The child cutely wiped her nose, sniffled and looked up at the system windows displaying the fight from several angles. "Just play."
"That's right-"
"Playti is over," Everyone heard Dina's voice echoing from the crater, just before a streak of pink mana caused it to cave in on itself.
"There's the Dina I want to see!" Ikaris's eyes completely glossed over with white mana, and then a halo much like Sol's appeared on her back, golden with crown-like protrusions that slowly rotated around it.
"I won't hold a single punch from now on!" Dina began ascending after diggin gherself out of the crater, her eyes and hair crimson, and her mana a darker shade of pink, almosr red.
"Good grief, these two..." Sara slapped her forehead, chuckling when Talia did the sa. "
"Good Gweef," She pointed at Ikaris. "Mama pwetty!"
"Like an angel," Grecia agreed with the child, mouth hung and eyes watery in awe. "I have never seen Vatui with this level of mana before, with her royal blood, her physical strength and her mana, is there anyone who can defeat her?"
"Many out there, Milady is reasonably strong, no, she is overbearingly powerful, but there are other beings like Master, Like Xie Tsung and Umbra who she could not best in direct combat," Alpha replied.
"With ti though," Xie countered. "I have already reached the peak of my power, even converting over to the system only made a small difference to my overall strength, but for soone like Milady Ikaris, and Sovereign Vestic."
"Those who walk the light, maybe even Ladies Dina and Arla, there will co a day when they are known across the cosmos, through every collective as the most powerful beings in existence," He placed his left hand akimbo and pointed with his right watching Ikaris and Dina charging towards each other again.
"Mark my words, these four will overturn every scaling of power one day-"
He stopped and looked around at Talia.
"Well, this is most interesting, I have yet to interact with her so I paid no heed, but..." Xie stared at the babe in Sara's grasp with a weird and troubled expression. "A light born of the light, which shines brighter than the source itself."
*BOOM*
Nobody was able to see the mont Ikaris and Dina clashed, nor did they see the resulting cataclism as the skies tore open and the ground around them outside of the barrier quaked and caved on itself, getting turnt into matter as the crust was vapourised.
Like a room full of curious children they had all locked onto his observation, for Alpha and Jena it was because he knew sothing only privy to Sol and his imdiate family, but for the others it was because, like before, he had said sothing that even in the world they lived in they found it hard to believe.
He had just admitted that Talia would surpass her parents and the other two that he had just called the most powerful beings potentially.
"Is that so?" Sara stared at him. "How did you co by such information?"
"My lady, I am an old soul who has more experience with light and dark and powers beyond what Sovereign, Grecia or Milady has ever been and probably will ever be exposed to," Xie brushed his hair around, not even noticing the sphere they were in as it was raised into tha air.
"I know potential when it presents itself, Sure, she will take so ti, the power that Sovereign will hold soday is not going to be so easily surpassed not even by her, but that child in your arms is incredible, eventually, she will inherit his power and surpass even his wildest expectations."
"Talia Vestic will be undefeatable."
