Walking from dusk till dawn.
Continuously walking.
It seems that walking like this makes my heart feel sowhat better.
Until dawn.
Su Yan suddenly hears Xiao Hua’s voice,
"Congratulations, Host, the third star has lit up."
Su Yan hears this voice and suddenly stops.
She stands there.
Because of Xiao Hua’s words, all the mories she painstakingly forgot about him instantly co rushing back to her mind.
She recalls the wound on his chest.
Thinks of his expressionless face watching her.
Xiao Hua
"Host, the Lord Hero in this plane lacks emotions and worldly views significantly.
If he wakes up in the morning and finds you’re not there, will he do sothing extre?"
Xiao Hua’s casual remark snaps Su Yan back to reality.
Then, she turns quickly to rush back to the inn.
She unknowingly walked a long way during the night.
When she returns to the inn, it’s already one hour later.
Su Yan climbs the stairs and notices Ying standing at the door of her room.
Su Yan glances at Ying and walks towards Hua Wuqing’s room.
Ying speaks,
"The Sect Hierarch is here."
Su Yan stops in her tracks, turns around, and looks at him.
Ying furrows his brow.
When looking at Su Yan, his eyes carry a murderous intent.
His voice is as cold as ever.
"I once told you, if you’re only after the dicine, please don’t treat the Sect Hierarch so well."
Su Yan ignores his words, asking,
"Where is he?"
Ying hesitates for a long ti before showing Su Yan an expression of both disgust and complexity.
"The Sect Hierarch depends greatly on you, an unprecedented dependence."
Ying now regrets.
He should have killed this woman the first ti he saw the Sect Hierarch’s unusual interest in her.
It would have spared the Sect Hierarch from being so troubled now.
Su Yan replies flatly,
"I know."
These words sound like a provocation in Ying’s ears.
He grits his teeth,
"Don’t presu that I won’t dare kill you."
He speaks each word forcefully,
"No one can insult the Sect Hierarch. No one at all."
Su Yan,
"I want to see him now."
Ying naturally won’t allow the person who nearly hard the Sect Hierarch to see him again.
Su Yan watches him remain silent.
She speaks up,
"I’ve never intended to insult him."
She speaks earnestly.
Maybe it’s because she spoke with such sincerity.
Or maybe, Ying knows deep down, the only person the Sect Hierarch wants to see now is just this woman.
Su Yan walks to the door, pushes it open.
This ti Ying doesn’t stop her.
As soon as Su Yan enters, a strong sll of blood hits her.
She scans the room, then sees Hua Wuqing, dressed in bright red clothes, huddled in the corner, silent.
Su Yan reaches out, continuously rubbing her chest.
She only feels that the pain there is growing.
She walks to the corner,
speaks,
"Hua Wuqing."
Upon hearing this voice, the person stiffens montarily.
Then, he retreats further into the corner.
Trying to distance himself, not wanting to see her.
Compared to his emotions, Su Yan looks at the blood underfoot.
She furrows her brows,
"Where are you injured?"
Hua Wuqing seems unwilling to speak to her, continuously retreating into the corner.
Su Yan asks again,
"Where are you hurt?"
Hua Wuqing keeps his head down, his dark lashes quivering.
"Wait a while, then co find ."
His voice is hoarse.
He seems a bit anxious.
And his face, visibly pale and weak.
Su Yan’s frowning grows deeper,
"Is the wound torn?"
