Su Yan looked at herself in the mirror.
It was a very young face.
Even less innocent, more charming.
While she was looking, Xiao Hua’s voice appeared in her mind again.
"Host, you ca to look for Xiao Hua, but Xiao Hua doesn’t know where she is, waaaah."
As soon as the childish voice fell, their connection broke again.
Su Yan dressed herself.
No longer engaged with these thoughts.
Opened the door and walked out.
As soon as she stepped out, she heard the nanny calling her
"Mrs. Song, you’re awake. Mr. Song is having breakfast downstairs."
Mr. Song? Mrs. Song?
Married?
Su Yan walked down the stairs.
A layer of milky white wool carpet covered the wooden stairs.
Stepping on it, it wouldn’t make the slightest sound.
Walking downstairs.
Looking at the whole appearance of the living room.
Cold, simple.
A sharp contrast to the pink princess room in the original body’s house.
Most importantly, that room was lived in by one person.
No hint of another’s presence.
She originally didn’t co downstairs to eat.
She intended to go out to look for her Tongzi.
After all, hearing Tongzi’s voice, it seed a bit scared.
She tilted her head.
The morning sunlight stread down.
She happened to see the man sitting at the dining table.
Black suit pants, white shirt, the buttons at the cuffs and collar tightly fastened.
Feeling of aloofness and ticulousness emanating from him.
Looked up even further.
A very handso face.
Cold, rigid lines, expressionless, eyelids lowered.
Cutting the beef under his hand slice by slice.
Long, slender fingers, distinct joints.
Presumably, Su Yan’s conversation with the nanny had already been heard by him.
He should also know Su Yan had co downstairs.
But the man didn’t even raise his head to look.
Just concentrated on slicing the beef under his hand.
Su Yan’s steps, originally intending to leave, halted.
Instead, she took a step forward, went to the dining table, pulled out a chair, and sat down opposite him.
The man paused his action of cutting beef.
Only then did he lift his head and look at her.
His eyes were pitch-black, without any ripple.
After one glance, he lowered his head and continued cutting.
He seed to enjoy cutting everything up before eating.
Su Yan watched him slice the beef.
Following the grain of the beef, the cuts were smooth, and the sizes seed nearly equal.
Su Yan lifted her milk in front of her and took a sip.
The nanny soon brought up another portion of beef.
She cut a piece.
The two maintained their silence.
Each eating their own food.
As if they were two strangers who coincidentally ended up sharing the sa table for a al.
Fifteen minutes later, the man across from her wiped his mouth and stood up.
Picked up his suit jacket and walked out.
Finally, Su Yan spoke.
"Wait."
The man halted his steps at the doorway entrance.
Stood there.
Waiting for her to continue speaking.
Su Yan got up and walked over.
Then, gave him a hug.
Imagining how a wife would send her husband off to work.
Then said,
"Co back early."
When she hugged the man, she clearly felt his back stiffen.
With a hint of resistance.
It was apparent that the man and the original owner rarely engaged in physical contact.
Upon her words, the man said nothing, just looked at her emotionlessly for a mont.
Su Yan blinked and said,
"Or do you want to pick you up?"
Su Yan’s words brought the man back to reality.
He turned around, opened the door, and walked out.
Su Yan pondered.
Did he want her to pick him up, or would he co back on his own?
After the man left for a while, she rembered that there was still a missing Tongzi she needed to find.
