The person approaching imdiately scolded,

Looking up, a maid was in the front, holding a long bamboo pole about a person’s height.
It was too dark, and she hadn’t noticed the pole in her hand when she bumped into it.
That servant’s attire was different from those of Xuanyuan Country, it was grey, with tightly bound cuffs at the wrists and ankles, resembling martial arts attire.
This person spoke arrogantly.
Yet, Su Yan’s attention was caught by the pole, where she vaguely saw a green snake coiling around it.

"Thank you,"
After speaking, Nantang stood in front of the maid, guarding Su Yan as they left the two.
When they were far away, the maid expressed her dissatisfaction,
"Princess! Since when have you beco so rciful?"
The hot-dressed woman didn’t reply but took a step, causing the bells on her anklets to jangle,
"A servant’s life should compensate for offending ."
As she said this, she glanced at the small green snake entwined on the pole.
The maid imdiately understood.
anwhile, as Su Yan turned the corner,
"No need to follow , if you’re hungry, just eat the snake that bit ."
Her voice was neither too loud nor too soft, enough for Nantang to hear, causing him to pause.
Then, Nantang heard rustling noises from the bushes.
