Phantom limb pain is such that even a gentle touch from another can feel like a knife cutting through flesh to the sufferer.
At this mont, the doctor who had left earlier heard the commotion and hurried back in.
The man lying on the bed had a pale face, his gaze sweeping over Su Yan who also stepped back.

Su Yan kept her head down, taking out one Strawberry Milk Candy after another and putting them into her mouth.
The room was closed off.

An aged voice with a compelling presence rang out.
An elderly man with nearly white hair, dressed in a Sun Yat-sen suit, sat firmly on the sofa with his cane.
Ji Xingyu looked towards the black leather sofa.
Without saying anything more to Su Yan, he walked towards the old man.
Ji Xingyu approached the elder and bowed his head.
"Grandfather"
The old man looked up at Ji Xingyu.
Then he slowly sighed.

Hearing Ji Xingyu calling him grandfather,
one could easily guess the identity of this elderly man.
Ji Jian Country, the current patriarch of the Ji Family.
