Originally, Hong Dou and Qin Qingyue were just bringing in a bowl of hot millet porridge into the room.
And happened to see that scene.
Mr. Su Jiuci, who had previously seed so fragile, was now passionately kissing their Young Master on the table.
The row of dishes had been pushed aside.

"Hey, when the Young Master marries Mr. Su Jiuci, will you stay here or go with the Young Master?"
Qin Qingyue paused, then forced a smile
"Nothing’s set in stone yet, why are you so certain that Su Jiuci is the future husband?
Moreover, why do you think it’s the Young Master who will marry into the other family, rather than Su Jiuci joining ours?"
Hong Dou looked at Qin Qingyue bewildered
"The Gang Leader and Mr. Su care so much for the Young Master, as long as the Young Master likes soone, they hardly ever oppose."
So in Hong Dou’s eyes, since the Young Master has taken a liking, it ans the marriage is nearly settled.
Qin Qingyue half-listened, her mind filled with the images she just witnessed.
At that mont, Hong Dou spoke again
"As for the matter of who marries whom, there’s no such thing as n marrying into won’s families, it’s always the won who marry into the n’s."
While saying this, Hong Dou found it amusing.
But after a mont of stun, Qin Qingyue’s body tensed up.
Her pace ca to a halt.
"Wha- What? A woman?"
Hong Dou observed her shocked expression and thought about what she had just said.
Looking puzzled,
"You didn’t always know that the Young Master is a woman?"
Qin Qingyue’s grip faltered, nearly spilling the millet porridge.
But fortunately, she quickly steadied it.
She had always thought that the love between Su Jiuci and the Young Master was unnatural.
Who would have known, the Young Master turned out to be a woman, and that strange person was herself.
The person she longed to have all to herself was a woman.
Qin Qingyue’s heart was in turmoil.
And yet, she had no regrets.
But now, Su Jiuci and the Young Master had reconciled.
