Yu Wenxu saw her cheeks turn red, seemingly embarrassed to look at him.
A smile played on his lips.
"Feeling shy now?"
He leaned in close.
As he looked at her with lowered eyes and a smile, she probably thought that he was about to whisper sweet nothings.
After a brief mont, he pecked her cheek.
"If you don’t get up soon, the roast chicken will get cold."
After he spoke, he just moved aside.
Su Yan sat up abruptly.
He quickly stretched out his hand to pull the blanket beside her and wrapped her up tightly.
Only her head popped out as Su Yan’s eyes sparkled at the sight of the roast chicken in front of Yu Wenxu.
Uhm, she was hungry.
He reached for the bowl of clear congee next to him.
Scooping up a spoonful, he brought it to her lips.
