The cars headed west, driving over ten kiloters, when suddenly Ye Liang pulled the handbrake hard, bringing the car to a stop.
Shi Tou, who was in the passenger seat of another car, jogged over.
"Boss, what’s going on?"
Ye Liang looked at the deserted street, where there was nothing at all - no people, and no zombies.
"No zombies."
Shi Tou was startled at first, then realized,
"Right, we’ve been driving for over ten kiloters and haven’t seen so much as a group of zombies, let alone a single one."
Because the convoy stopped, people in the containers initially didn’t comnt, thinking it was just a short break.
But the stoppage lasted for over two hours under the scorching sun, and finally beca unbearable.
Soone couldn’t help sticking their head out of the container
"Hey! What the hell is going on? Are we moving or not??"

"You guys get to sit in cars while so many of us are cramd into this tiny space, nearly smothered to death!!"
"That’s right, it’d be unfortunate if we end up not getting killed by zombies but suffocated instead."
"Exactly, exactly."
"Yes!"
"What’s with these people, thinking they’re so great just because they have guns!!"
In the midst of the noise and clamor, Su Yan glanced at Ye Liang, who was still in the driver’s seat, remaining indifferent.
