Leopard Print Man realized the helicopter was coming for them.
He didn’t have the ans to get a helicopter for help, so it must have been Bo Feng who called them in.
His eyes shifted, sensing trouble, and he quickly gestured for his brothers to retreat.
The business van started swiftly, and then sped away.
At this mont, Bo Feng was too busy to care about them.
He was angrily gripping Su Yan’s hand.
Pulling Su Yan into the copilot seat, he then sohow produced an ergency dical kit.
His hands moved quickly and expertly, as if he had been specially trained.
After disinfecting and bandaging, soon Su Yan’s hand was wrapped in gauze.
Actually, the bleeding looked frightening, but the wound was not deep.
It would heal in a couple of days.
But Bo Feng still looked very angry.
Su Yan sat there, with the sound of the helicopter’s rotors above her.
She spoke up, trying to break the heavy silence.
"It seems like backup has arrived."
As she said this, she saw people swiftly sliding down from the ladder.
Su Yan took Bo Feng’s phone from the driver’s position and handed it to him.
Bo Feng snatched the phone with a larger motion, frowning.
He dialed that number again.
"It’s safe now."
With these three cold words, he hung up.
He watched as the fully ard person who had just descended from the ladder quickly received orders and climbed back up to return.
Five minutes later, the helicopter finally left.
Bo Feng sat in the driver’s seat, silent for a long ti.
In the prolonged silence, Su Yan clenched her hand.
"It hurts a bit."
At the sound of her voice, Bo Feng finally reacted.
He turned to look at her, brows furrowed,
"Are you hurt anywhere else?"
Su Yan spread her bandaged hand.
"Just this one."
Saying that, Bo Feng looked up at her.
Su Yan leaned in.
"I saw the knife coming at you, it was a reflex, I didn’t think much."
How could she know, after taking a knife for him, he would still be so angry.
Bo Feng pressed his lips together.
Su Yan leaned closer, hugging him.
She whispered,
"How can you be angry with when I just saved you? We were supposed to be out having fun."
As soon as she ntioned this, sothing clicked in Su Yan’s head.
She looked around, then upwards at the sky.
"Why did you bring here?"
As soon as this was ntioned, Bo Feng’s ears turned red instantaneously.
After a long ti, he forced out a few rigid words,
"To watch the stars."
Su Yan blinked.
"To watch the stars?"
Following that, Bo Feng got out of the car and walked towards the trunk.
Su Yan went down to see, only to find him lingering for a long ti by the trunk, delaying his return.
She was puzzled.
Going over to see, she saw Bo Feng with a dark face.
In his hands, he held a bunch of roses that had lost their shape due to the petals scattering.
Probably, the high-speed chase and the violent collision had ruined these roses, right?
When Su Yan saw the roses, she finally realized.
Was this... a date he had brought her on?
She blinked, and for so reason, looking at him, she felt a surge of emotion in her heart.
After so much ti, she had basically understood his character.
How challenging it must have been for such a stubborn person to prepare himself to arrange roses thodically, just to invite her to watch the stars?
Bo Feng’s face looked unpleasant as he threw the roses back into the trunk.
Still angry.
His wife, who was standing by and watching just a mont ago, suddenly ca over and hugged him.
She kissed his lips.
With that kiss, Bo Feng’s expression finally began to ease.
Indeed, his wife loved him, love that was undeniable, considering the way she was acting coy, apparently wanting sothing.
No choice then, he had to satisfy her.
