After the silence, it was the old lady who spoke again
"Alright, let’s eat. We have waited for so long, everyone is hungry."
In the Bao Family, the old lady wielded considerable influence; once she spoke, no one else talked, and all quietly ate their al.
Only Bo Feng occasionally served Su Yan so dishes and whispered a few words in her ear.
No one knew what he was saying as Su Yan looked at him and quietly stopped him
"You should eat properly."
She spoke very seriously.
But why did her tone sound like she was cajoling a child??
Bo Feng’s eyes glead, and he smiled lazily, and after a while, his voice beca sultry and alluring
"As you say."
Only then did he settle down to eat properly.
Next to him, Bao Yu bowed her head, her hair covering her cheeks.
She gripped her chopsticks tightly, her fingers turning white.
The force was so strong it seed she wanted to snap the chopsticks.
At this mont, a cold systemic voice echoed in Bao Yu’s mind
"Warning, Host mission is about to fail, please quickly devise a strategy. Otherwise, face soul erasure."
Bao Yu bowed her head, each bite of her rice felt like chewing wax.
She didn’t understand, she had arrived six years earlier than Su Yan.
Why had it co to this?
But now, she couldn’t afford to ponder whether she understood or not.
The most important mission was to prevent Su Yan from winning.

A sparkle flashed through Bao Yu’s eyes.
Dinner was finished in a quiet and slightly awkward atmosphere.
After eating, the old lady went upstairs.
Father Bo and Mother Bo had only briefly conversed with Bo Feng and exchanged a few congratulatory words, nothing more.
They could no longer be described as uninvolved with this son.
Perhaps just slightly better than strangers, right?
Su Yan stood on the balcony, watching the awkward interaction among the three of them in the living room.
She then turned to look at the scenery outside.
Soon after, Bo Feng ca over.
He hugged her from behind, his voice deep
"What are you thinking about?"
Su Yan shook her head
"Nothing much."
Then she asked
"Are we staying here tonight?"
"Do you like it here?"
"It’s alright."
"If not here, let’s go ho."
Saying so, Bo Feng moved closer to her neck and bit it gently.
"Little Guai’s brother doesn’t seem like you at all."
Su Yan nodded
"Yes, he was pampered by our parents since he was young."
"Are you sad your parents didn’t co?"
Su Yan looked at Bo Feng curiously.
She seed surprised that he would ask such a question.
After a brief pause, she replied,
"They are being investigated at the police station; I sent them there myself, so no, I am not sad."
Bo Feng fell silent for a mont, then smiled,
"Wow, Little Guai is really impressive."
The night was cool and the moonlight faintly bright.
In this tranquility, everything seed harmonious.
The two of them were laughing and playing around when suddenly, a frantic scream ca from upstairs.
Su Yan and Bo Feng exchanged glances.
Su Yan said,
"That’s Bao Yu’s voice."
Bo Feng scanned the living room.
Bao Yu and Su Litian were nowhere to be seen.
Next, crying and tearful sounds ca from the second floor, along with the old lady’s furious voice,
"Scoundrels!"
Bo Feng raised an eyebrow.
He had pretty much guessed what had happened.
Su Yan pulled him,
"Let’s go and see."
On the way to the second floor, they saw Su Litian being restrained against the wall by two black-clothed bodyguards.
And there was Bao Yu, crouched on the ground, wrapped in a blanket, her dress and makeup in disarray.
From this scene, no explanation was needed to know what had transpired.
