Qin Ru took the box of pastries and placed it on the coffee table.
Shi Shu, who had been looking down, shifted his gaze.
He raised his eyes and looked toward the mirror.
Then, through the mirror, he saw Su Yan standing at the door, earnest and proper.
He was montarily stunned.
Just as Qin Ru was about to respond, he heard the stylist behind him, arranging Shi Shu’s clothes, say,
"Mr. Shi Shu, your clothes aren’t finished yet..."
As the stylist spoke, Shi Shu had already walked up to Su Yan.
As a result, before Qin Ru could introduce them, he was pushed aside by his master.
Shi Shu embraced Su Yan into his arms.

After speaking, Shi Shu’s deanor changed instantly.
He held Su Yan, acting as if no one else was there.
His voice turned fierce and resentful.
"Since you agreed, you’ve been disappearing, not even calling .

I see to you, I’m not even as important as the box of pastries you brought."
Su Yan glanced at the dumbfounded stylist and assistant Qin Ru.
Then she looked at Shi Shu, who used a resentful tone as if nobody else was around.
She opened her mouth, then leaned close to Shi Shu’s ear and whispered,
"I haven’t forgotten you; I ca because I wanted to see you."
Her voice was soft, clumsy but earnest.
Listening to her, Shi Shu instantly quieted down.
He held Su Yan close.
They were so close, intimately pressed together.
Then he kissed her.
It was unexpected, without any warning.
Su Yan raised her hand to hit him but paused in mid-air.
Realizing this was her boyfriend, with a lovely build, she couldn’t hit him hard.
After all, she’d learned from past experiences.
She just tightened her grip slightly on his wrist; within a few days, it could swell up like a bun.
If she used any force and knocked him out, the purplish-red mark on his neck wouldn’t fade for a week.
She lowered her hand and stood there dumbfounded, letting him kiss her.
Originally, she thought after a while he’d have his fill and let go.
