The spacious room was still shockingly cold.

After the earlier rampage of wind and snow, a faint layer of frost still clung to the surrounding walls. Those deathly pale patterns had no discernible order, like the works of so mad artist.

Because of the cold, the disturbed airflow beca like a hellish yin wind, stinging the skin painfully.

“King Yintuo, let us begin the second round.”

Celicia angled the long sword in her hand.

The sword she drew from the parasol was a slender blade, only a finger wide, with no flashy decorations. Muen hadn’t even realized before that it was a sword—but now, the cold gleam flickering across the blade made even him feel a slight chill of awe.

King Yintuo’s gaze also fell upon that sword.

“Everyone across the continent calls the Third Princess of the Leopold Empire the Ice Witch... but now it seems that your so-called Divine Favor is rely the blizzard shrouding you, concealing your true edge. Few have ever seen through it.”

A hint of admiration flickered in King Yintuo’s eyes.

“Please.”

Faced with King Yintuo’s invitation, Celicia did not move for the mont.

The cold breeze around them—unnoticed—had already gone still.

Her clear, cold gaze remained fixed on the King Yintuo slowly rising from the ditation mat, like an experienced predator carefully observing the flaws of its prey.

But that state did not last long.

Celicia bent a finger and flicked the blade lightly.

A crisp tallic ring sounded.

She neither shifted her gaze nor spoke a word.

But Muen understood her aning.

Attack.

Clang—

Blade-light flared in an instant.

The power he had silently accumulated erupted once more from Muen’s body. Without hesitation, he lunged like a leopard, slashing straight at King Yintuo.

After half an hour of rest and adjustnt, his mana and stamina had mostly recovered.

So this strike was once again full-force!

Terrifying layered power surged through the blade; dozens of thunderous sounds exploded simultaneously, like countless war drums pounding, rattling one’s eardrums painfully.

King Yintuo’s expression, however, did not shift.

With no brilliance, no drama, his lifeless eyes reflected the blade-light that seed even sharper than before, and once again—he simply lifted his hand. Once again... just a single palm.

Thud.

It was clearly blade eting force, yet the sound was remarkably heavy. Muen felt as if a thick mbrane had appeared before him; his twin blades struck it, and all their sharpness was blocked.

King Yintuo extended his hand and gently pressed forward with his palm.

The heavy mbrane instantly transford into a falling mountain.

Muen felt a force even more terrifying than what he had unleashed crash into him.

The blade-light shattered at once. Under that massive, overwhelming impact, Muen let out a muffled groan from deep in his nose and coughed up a mouthful of thick blood.

One strike—and he was seriously injured again.

But Muen’s eyes remained bright! His slightly curled lips faintly revealed a thrill, a feral excitent in the face of a powerful foe.

It hurt.

But... is that it?

Celicia’s knee strikes hurt more than this!

He suddenly dropped his stance, sinking into a horse stance. Veins bulged along his neck. Facing the crushing force head-on, he did not retreat; instead, he absorbed it with brute force—

Then twisted his waist and abdon, slashing out once more.

A crescent of blade-light swung in an arc, striking straight at King Yintuo’s face.

But of course, this could not harm him.

After sensing Muen’s speed earlier, King Yintuo had sealed the space around himself, preventing Muen from displaying that speed again. Every step felt like sinking into a swamp.

So even an unexpected slash like this was aningless in King Yintuo’s eyes.

He was only an avatar; Muen Campbell had surprised him several tis—but the gap in level remained.

Muen Campbell was still only a third-tier martial artist.

A gap like heaven and earth. Even if he had made King Yintuo look a bit disheveled earlier, the essence remained untouched.

King Yintuo raised his hand again, delivering a palm.

Snap.

A crisp sound rang out. The crescent of blade-light shattered the mont his palm pressed forward.

King Yintuo paused faintly.

This technique... was even weaker than he expected.

He knew the gap between them. But this strike was clearly far weaker than Muen’s earlier ones.

Had he exhausted his strength?

King Yintuo looked at the blood-stained smile at Muen’s lips.

...No.

This was only a feint!

Though he was only an avatar, King Yintuo’s vision and experience remained. He instantly understood Muen’s intent.

But—

A feint?

If he was feinting... who was the main attacker?

Who...?

King Yintuo’s thoughts turned rapidly—yet suddenly hit a paradox he couldn’t untangle, as if a shadow had fallen across his consciousness, making him overlook sothing.

But in a life-and-death fight, everything happened in a split-second; there would be no ti for him to respond. And right after that shattered crescent—

A slender sword, only a finger wide, finally appeared.

The sword was thin.

The montum was small.

Like a falling star crossing the night sky—silent and soundless.

But for the first ti, King Yintuo’s expression turned solemn.

The sword arrived at the perfect mont—precisely when he had just thrown out that palm, leaving him unable to counter smoothly.

Even more terrifying was the horrifying sword-gleam clinging to the blade.

“Hmph.”

King Yintuo reacted swiftly; his body trembled, and a terrifying pressure exploded outward from him.

The entire space seed to tremble for a mont. The sword-gleam was slightly pushed aside, its angle deflected.

However—

A faint line of blood appeared on King Yintuo’s neck, stretching all the way down to his chest.

Blood began to flow, staining his tattered robe red.

At the sa ti, a perfectly straight crack ford from his feet, running across the floor, up the wall behind him, and all the way to the ceiling.

The entire factory surrounding them had ★ 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 ★ been split cleanly in half by the sword-gleam.

Soft light fell through the thin gap, allowing one to see the gray fog covering the sky above.

This was an unbelievably fearso sword strike—so powerful that even Muen’s eyelids twitched. Good thing she didn’t draw the sword back when I was being an idiot earlier.

“Impressive. I underestimated you.”

King Yintuo looked down at the wound across his chest. Not fatal—but to leave such a mark on him at all was astonishing.

Even he could only praise it.

“Nothing worth praising. I failed to kill you.”

Celicia’s forehead glistened with fragrant sweat as she breathed lightly. She casually tossed aside the handle-less parasol.

She had already thrown it once earlier—using that small motion to trick King Yintuo into ignoring the parasol, never noticing it concealed sothing unusual.

Then, using the parasol’s ability to mask presence, she launched that ambush, delivering the sword strike.

But sadly—as expected of King Yintuo—even as an avatar, he wasn’t so easy to kill.

Now that the ambush had failed, King Yintuo would not give her another opportunity.

From here on... they would have no choice but to fight head-on.

And fighting head-on was far from ideal.

Muen raised his eyebrows at her, as if to say:

Your turn first.

Celicia shot back a cold glare, as if replying:

Shut up.

And seeing the two of them acting as if he didn’t exist—exchanging looks and making faces—King Yintuo’s expression darkened like deep water. He waved both hands, and the unseen energy shifted—

A tidal-wave-like force roared outward!
