"Crown Prince, the accounts have been compiled and are ready for your review." The man said, handing a docunt to Nangong Yaoling.
Nangong Yaoling opened it and glanced through.
Then he stepped forward and grabbed Xia Xiaonuan’s hand.
He lowered his head and looked at Xia Xiaonuan’s face, which showed a mix of surprise and reluctance.
He couldn’t help but smile.
Looking at several high-ranking officials, he said, "Send the accounts to the restaurant later."
The high-ranking officials were montarily stunned but promptly responded, "Yes, Crown Prince!"
After speaking, Nangong Yaoling pulled Xia Xiaonuan by the hand and entered the elevator.
A manager-like person saw the Crown Prince going upstairs and quickly instructed the people beside him, "Go to the restaurant and get ready to serve."
"Yes."
The elevator stopped on the twenty-seventh floor.
After hearing they were going to a restaurant, Xia Xiaonuan’s mood brightened a bit.
After all, to her, food was the most important thing.
She had been busy all afternoon and was already starving.
Fortunately, Nangong Yaoling still had a sense of humanity.
When the elevator opened, right in front was the seaside restaurant.
Opposite the restaurant was a wall entirely made of floor-to-ceiling windows.
The restaurant lighting was not overly bright.
So, as soon as they stepped out of the elevator, they could see the city nightscape outside.
Even the stars in the sky.
The feeling was almost like standing on a rooftop.
Xia Xiaonuan exclaid, and then she saw over a dozen won standing not far away in two rows, wearing various strange outfits—so in fishnet tights, so wrapped in just a piece of cloth, so in maid costus, and so with chains around their necks.
But one thing was clear: all these won were so beautiful they could rival TV stars.
"Good evening, Crown Prince! Welco to dine with us! We wish you a pleasant al!" The won said in unison.
Xia Xiaonuan’s face imdiately darkened.
Nangong Yaoling waved his hand at them, "You may leave now!"
The won quietly glanced at each other, visibly disappointed.
Originally, many of them hoped to get a chance to et the Crown Prince, and if lucky, be chosen and perhaps gain his favor.
That way, they wouldn’t have to please other patrons every day; they would only need to please Nangong Yaoling.
However, Nangong Yaoling’s word was always absolute.
"Yes, Crown Prince!" The beautiful won all left, leaving behind a few uniford staff mbers.
As they passed by, Xia Xiaonuan couldn’t help but grumble inwardly, wondering which face among them was their own. It’s quite possible that they all ca from the sa beauty clinic!
Seeming to sense her thoughts, Nangong Yaoling spoke:
"The won who can enter here at least have a bachelor’s degree, several are even pursuing doctorates, have no family dical history, and no history of costic surgery. These won are selected from nationwide auditions and undergo strict training before they can start working."
He said this indifferently.
Xia Xiaonuan was shocked to hear this.
She couldn’t understand why, with such good conditions, these won would willingly work here?
Nangong Yaoling then answered her unasked question.
"The monthly salary here is at least ten tis that of a white-collar worker."
Xia Xiaonuan sighed.
Indeed, this was a realistic and cruel society.
"And not all won can enter here just because they want to."
Nangong Yaoling and Xia Xiaonuan were led by staff to a window seat in the middle.
Xia Xiaonuan noticed that while other floors were quite crowded, this one was particularly empty.
