Xia Xiaonuan was slightly stunned. She looked up and saw Shaochen dressed in casual clothes, standing not far away, walking leisurely towards her.
The two of them seed to be taken aback.
A few seconds later, Xia Xiaonuan said, "What a coincidence..."
"Yes." Shaochen’s lips curled into a slight smile. He walked up to her and stopped. "What brings you here?"
"I..." Xia Xiaonuan scratched her head. Standing under the large fountain, looking at Shaochen’s handso face in the sunlight, she felt a little dizzy. "I... felt stuffy, so I ca out for a walk..."
"How’s Young Master? Is he okay?" Shaochen gazed at her and asked.
"Uh... he’s fine." Xia Xiaonuan smiled awkwardly, thinking that how could he not be? Even if he’s injured, he still has that hot temper.
Shaochen said, "Actually... there’s sothing I wanted to ask you..."
"Ask ?"
"Yes..." Shaochen stared at Xia Xiaonuan. It took him a mont before he spoke again. "I wanted to ask, on that day... when you were horseback riding, why did the horse suddenly fall?"
"It seems like... a fox jumped out and startled the horse..." Xia Xiaonuan answered truthfully.

Disappointnt flashed clearly in Shaochen’s eyes.
In the corner, a horse trainer was training a horse, and not far away, near a house, a cara was pointed in their direction, taking pictures.
Shaochen was about to speak when suddenly, his brows furrowed slightly.
From the corner of his eye, he glanced into the distance.
The figure hiding behind a house imdiately ducked out of view.
Shaochen’s thin lips were drawn into a slight line.
His hand, which was hanging by his side, clenched into a fist.
Looking at Xia Xiaonuan, he smiled and said, "No... Perhaps I was seeing things..."
A dark cloud floated overhead.
It blocked out the recently bright sky.
Xia Xiaonuan looked up at the sky.
"Oh no, it looks like it’s going to rain again," Xia Xiaonuan said.
Shaochen said, "Yes, we should hurry back!"
"Mhm..."
The stables were a distance from the exit. The two walked quickly, but the rain ca faster than expected.
After just a few steps, the rain started to pour down heavily.
Xia Xiaonuan covered her head with her hand. "Ah... it’s raining heavily!" The two of them scread and ran for cover.
Shaochen took off his jacket and held it over both of their heads as they ran towards a car in the distance.
When they reached the car, Shaochen quickly opened the door for Xia Xiaonuan and then climbed in himself.
Both of them were soaked.
Xia Xiaonuan was wearing a white long dress, and the rainwater had wetted the hem, making it cling to her body.
"Wow, the rain ca down so suddenly," Xia Xiaonuan said, wiping rainwater from her face and smiling as she looked at Shaochen.
But she noticed Shaochen was also looking at her. When their eyes t, he suddenly looked away unnaturally.
Xia Xiaonuan was taken aback.
Lowering her head, she realized that her clothes were sticking to her body.
The outlines were very blurred...
Xia Xiaonuan’s face instantly flushed, burning with embarrassnt.
Shaochen took out a new towel and handed it to her, letting her wipe her face and neck.
