Nangong Yaoling was montarily stunned upon hearing the words, his face instantly turning extrely grim.
He stared at her with a complex and shocked gaze, a hint of pain even present within.
Xia Xiaonuan only then realized that she might have said sothing wrong in a mont of anger.
A trace of embarrassnt appeared on her delicate face, but she didn’t want to take back her words. She just bit her lower lip tightly, stubbornly glaring at him.
After a few seconds, Nangong Yaoling spoke.
"So, this is how you truly feel?"
All the tis she fetched dicine for him, cared about his leg, ca to the hospital to see him, stayed by his side.
All of it, just because she was worried about the Xia Family, afraid of being implicated herself?

His voice was still sowhat hoarse, yet his tone was very calm, as if there was no emotion, no anger, and certainly no rage.
But standing beside him, Xia Xiaonuan felt a chill creeping up her body, directly hitting her heart.
After finishing his words, Nangong Yaoling didn’t look at her again. Instead, he turned slightly.
As if he didn’t want to see her anymore.
The proud and tall figure of the man, dressed in hospital garb, curled up on the bed. But even so, he still exuded a nobility that ordinary people could not have.
Only at this mont, that figure seed incredibly desolate.
Xia Xiaonuan furrowed her brow slightly, suddenly wishing she could bite off her own tongue.
