As the elevator door opened, Nangong Yaoling and Liang Yuzhu were standing right at the door.
Inside the elevator, Xia Xiaonuan was almost leaning entirely on Liang Shaochen, drunk and nearly unconscious, muttering sothing under her breath.
Nangong Yaoling’s whole body stiffened suddenly.
His face instantly turned extrely grim.
Liang Yuzhu beside him was also stunned, her bandaged hand twitched, and she glanced at Nangong Yaoling with a schadenfreude expression on her face.
Liang Shaochen looked at the two, stunned for a mont, then sighed in relief and said, "Yaoling, your sister-in-law drank too much. I was just about to bring her to you."
Nangong Yaoling did not say a word, but took a stride forward and almost yanked Xia Xiaonuan into his arms.
"I know." He said coldly, not even glancing at Liang Shaochen, "Go take care of your sister."
A trace of helplessness flashed across Liang Shaochen’s face. Knowing that the young master was displeased again, he smiled and walked out of the elevator.
Liang Yuzhu saw the elevator door about to close, and hurriedly tried to follow, but Liang Shaochen pulled her back.
"Brother, why are you pulling ! I want to stay with Yaoling..."
"Yuzhu, he’s taking care of his own wife. What are you going to do? Watch your own position!" Liang Shaochen said sternly.
Liang Yuzhu unwillingly shot a glance at Liang Shaochen, "Brother... you know that I..." Her words were cut off coldly by Liang Shaochen’s stern gaze.
She could only stomp her feet begrudgingly and run inside.
Nangong Yaoling stuffed Xia Xiaonuan into the car. One of her hands was scrambling around as she kept muttering, "Why... why is this happening..."
Nangong Yaoling sat in the driver’s seat, grabbing her flailing hands with one hand, glaring at the woman in front of him with a dark expression.
"Xia Xiaonuan, you’d better behave at this mont!"
"Nangong Yaoling, you bastard!" Xia Xiaonuan glared at him with blurry eyes, cursing angrily. As she cursed, she even reached out to hit him.
"Nangong Yaoling... you... mm..." Nangong Yaoling clutched her neck tightly, swallowing her words.
Xia Xiaonuan gasped for breath, beating his back in protest, but her limbs were soft and weak, making her quickly give up the struggle.
Chapter 50
When he finally let go, Xia Xiaonuan was breathing heavily, shrinking back into the seat. Her cheeks were flushed red, her eyes blurry, and the whole person was imrsed in a daze.
Nangong Yaoling controlled himself with great effort to avoid taking her right there and then.
He took a deep breath, started the car.
The car swiftly drove onto the road.
Nangong Yaoling got out of the car, dragging the already asleep Xia Xiaonuan out. Xia Xiaonuan grumbled in discontent, waking up to a stomach upheaval, and threw up as soon as they reached the door.
