His eyes always stayed on her, filled with deep affection and heat. She felt a warmth in her heart, but it was mixed with an inexplicable pain—light and small, yet real, tugging at her heart.

Her fingertips slid over his handso profile, he placed his hand over hers.
"Qiqi, you’re truly beautiful," he suddenly said.
"Really?" she asked mischievously, "Was Qiqi more beautiful, or is Xia Xiaonuan now more beautiful?"
"Both are beautiful."
"I knew you were going to say that." She pretended to be angry and turned her face away.
Then so warm breath sprayed against her ear: "As long as it’s you, you’re the most beautiful in my eyes."
