Nangong Yaoling and Qin Yi arrived on Phuket Island at dawn on the second day.
They hurriedly took a boat to the hotel where Liang Shaochen and Xia Xiaonuan were staying right after landing.
Liang Shaochen had spent the night searching the nearby waters with the police boats, examining all potential nearby islands and passing vessels, but to no avail.
He returned totally dispirited, sitting on the sofa like a lost soul.
Nangong Yaoling rushed into the hotel lobby, with Qin Yi following closely. The officer who ca to pick them up, the embassy representative, and the hotel manager all trailed behind him. The curly-haired Thai officer kept talking beside him, explaining the situation non-stop, trying to calm him down, saying the police were investigating.
The Chinese male representative knew his identity and accompanied with faint smiles, assuring him that no matter the outco, there would be an explanation.
Nangong Yaoling emanated a near-destructive aura, his sculpted handso face covered with frost. He arrived in front of the suite, and the hotel manager hurriedly opened the door with his card.
Then he saw Liang Shaochen sitting in the living room expressionlessly. Nangong Yaoling looked around, and though he already knew Xia Xiaonuan was missing, seeing her luggage in the corner still fueled his inner turmoil.
This incident was different from the past ones, his worry and fear reached unprecedented heights. After all, this is a foreign country, and Xia Xiaonuan’s fate remains uncertain. Despite his best efforts, finding her felt like searching for a needle in a haystack.
Seeing Liang Shaochen sitting there unhard only fueled his anger further.
He rushed forward, grabbed Liang Shaochen’s collar, and landed a forceful punch.
One punch followed by two more.
The onlookers were stunned, nobody dared to intervene.
Especially Qin Yi, who stood there like an iron man with two rifles strapped to his waist, the air thick with tension.
Blood trickled from Liang Shaochen’s mouth and nose instantly. Under the morning sun, the red was strikingly visible. Nangong Yaoling roared, "It’s bad enough that you took her, but you let her get into trouble! Liang Shaochen, I damn well want to kill you!"
Liang Shaochen was knocked onto the coffee table and then fell to the ground.
He didn’t resist at all, just letting himself be beaten.
Qin Yi understood that Young Master hadn’t slept for almost ten hours on the plane and was on the verge of collapse. If he wasn’t allowed to vent his anger, he might really fall apart.
So he did not intervene initially.
Seeing Liang Shaochen beaten badly, looking exhausted with dark circles under his eyes, apparently having been extrely anxious last night.
He stepped forward to persuade, "Young Master, now isn’t the ti to get angry. The priority is to find Madam. Even if you beat him to death, it won’t accomplish anything..."
"Get out of the way—!" Nangong Yaoling roared, tossing Liang Shaochen onto the sofa.
He rushed into the bedroom. Seeing Xiaonuan’s clothes still piled on the bed, and so dried rose petals, he couldn’t help but let out a bitter smile.
He stepped forward, picked up Xiaonuan’s coat, his pupils turning frighteningly red.
Xia Xiaonuan, you wicked woman!
Don’t let find you, otherwise, I won’t spare you!
He shouted in his heart with hatred.
