Thinking back to the stories online about young girls going missing and later being found dead, it sent chills down my spine!
Nangong Yaoling stood by the window and made another call. He glanced at Xia Xiaonuan and walked over to her: "You go to sleep. I’ll notify you as soon as there’s any news."
With large dark circles under her eyes, Xia Xiaonuan shook her head: "How can I sleep?"
At that mont, the phone on the table suddenly rang.
The na displayed was Xiaonuan; it was actually her phone calling?
Xia Xiaonuan’s whole body trembled. She looked at Nangong Yaoling and hurriedly answered it.
It was Qi Yue!
"Hello... Xiaonuan... where are you?" A lazy, sowhat tired voice sounded.
"Qi Yue?" Xia Xiaonuan was overjoyed and stood up: "Qi Yue, are you alright? Did they do anything to you?"
Qi Yue, sitting on the bus, paused slightly upon hearing the voice.
She quickly replied: "I’m fine... you don’t need to worry."
"Where are you now? I’ll co pick you up!"
"I’m... I’m outside... Your bag and phone are still with . How about I return them to you at the café from yesterday?"
Xia Xiaonuan nodded: "Okay, great! I’ll be right there!"
After hanging up, Nangong Yaoling also looked at her with relief: "You found Qi Yue? Where is she?"
Xia Xiaonuan jumped up, moved forward, and hugged Nangong Yaoling tightly.
"Qi Yue is fine... That’s great! She’s okay..."

Xia Xiaonuan looked at his handso face, with his furrowed brows. He had stayed up all night with her and looked equally exhausted.
She felt a surge of warmth in her heart.
Suddenly wanting to reach out, cup his face, and give him a kiss, she restrained herself at the thought.
Her cheeks flushed slightly. She grabbed the coat, stepping aside: "I’ll do it myself..."
Nangong Yaoling gave her a deep look. Once she had put on her coat, he walked straight up, grabbed her hand, and headed outside.
Outside the café.
Xia Xiaonuan’s car pulled up, and at the sa ti, Qi Yue stepped out of a taxi.
Seeing Qi Yue in front of her, Xia Xiaonuan quickly grabbed her hand: "Where did you go last night? Why couldn’t I reach you? You nearly scared to death!"
Qi Yue recalled sothing, a hint of embarrassnt flickering across her face.
"Last night, you were taken away by two n. Did they do anything to you?" Xia Xiaonuan asked in rapid succession.
Qi Yue glanced at the handso Nangong Yaoling standing nearby, her face reddening, and quickly smiled: "No... They just put in a room, and I was released early..."
Xia Xiaonuan found it unimaginable but moved forward and hugged her directly.
"As long as you’re safe! You scared to death!" Xia Xiaonuan said, tears streaming down her face.
