Chapter 1406: Chapter 1406: Make It Clear

After discussing matters, Luo Ziling and Phoenix bid their farewells and left together.

Once they exited the elevator, Phoenix did not imdiately get into her car; instead, she turned to look at Luo Ziling who was following behind her.

“You are a mber of Dragon Rise, yet you authorized the supply of dicines ant for Dragon Rise to soone else just because she was your ex-fiancée?”

“Uh, is that any of your business? Are you perhaps trying to pursue ?” Luo Ziling looked at Phoenix with a gloomy expression, “My mom also handed over more than a billion dollars to her to help invest for !”

“So, are you planning to marry her?”

“Does that have anything to do with you?”

“It doesn’t concern , but it does concern Lin Lan!”

“She said she won’t marry !”

“Would she still say that if you were willing to marry her?”

“Are you interfering too much?” Luo Ziling looked genuinely puzzled, “I say, Captain, did sothing upset you today? Is it your ti of the month?”

Phoenix gave Luo Ziling a cold glance, opened the driver’s door, and drove away imdiately.

She sped off so quickly that Luo Ziling couldn’t even react. While he was still not planning to get in the car, Phoenix had already driven it away.

Watching that military SUV disappear in a cloud of dust, Luo Ziling could only offer a wry smile.

He could see that Phoenix was very emotional, or rather, quite prejudiced against him, he just didn’t know why.

“A woman’s heart is a deep ocean of secrets,” Luo Ziling believed in this saying now.

Phoenix left him at the Lingyun Group headquarters and walked away by herself. Luo Ziling stayed in the underground parking lot for a while before returning to Feifei’s office.

Feifei had once told him a personal access code which Luo Ziling used to take the elevator directly to the president’s office where Feifei was.

When Luo Ziling arrived, Wang Qing was getting ready to go downstairs. Seeing Luo Ziling coming up again, he couldn’t hide his surprise.

“I have another thing to discuss with President Ouyang. You go ahead with your own things, don’t be a third wheel,” after saying that, ignoring the stunned Wang Qing, he strode into Feifei’s office.

When Luo Ziling entered, Feifei was leaning back in her chair, on the phone.

Luo Ziling entered without knocking, startling her.

However, upon seeing it was Luo Ziling, she just frowned slightly, then quickly told the person on the phone goodbye and hung up.

“Sothing else?” She stood up and walked towards Luo Ziling.

“No, nothing,” Luo Ziling plopped down on the sofa, “That crazy woman, she left behind and went back alone.”

Feifei looked at Luo Ziling with a complex expression but eventually couldn’t help laughing.

“It looks like you upset her, otherwise she wouldn’t have left you behind.”

“You’re actually laughing at !” Luo Ziling glared at Feifei fiercely, “Is there anyone who revels in others’ misfortune like you do?”

Ouyang Feifei ignored Luo Ziling’s annoyance and still smilingly said, “Where are you going? I’ll have Wang Qing arrange a car to take you there.”

“Forget it, I’ll just walk back later!” Luo Ziling said as he stood up, “I ca back just to vent to you.”

Seeing Luo Ziling preparing to leave, Ouyang Feifei was surprised and couldn’t help but ask, “You’re leaving now?”

“Do you want to stay and keep you company at work?”

This remark made Ouyang Feifei blush a bit, but she still calmly said, “Since you’re back, sit for a while! I have so good tea here.”

Seeing Ouyang Feifei personally going to make tea for him, Luo Ziling did not plan to leave imdiately but instead asked, “Where did Ouyang Huihui go? She’s not using her old mobile number anymore?”

After Ouyang Huihui went abroad, there had been no news from her, as if she had vanished from this world.

Luo Ziling had called her number, but it always indicated that the phone was switched off. He had also sent her texts and WeChat ssages, but never got any reply, which made Luo Ziling very curious. Being alone with Ouyang Feifei today, he thought to ask this question again.

“She won’t contact you, and you also should not contact her for now,” Ouyang Feifei looked at Luo Ziling calmly, “This is Grandfather’s request. Grandfather doesn’t want Huihui to make things even ssier.”

“The night I was drunk, I had relations with her, right?” Luo Ziling straightforwardly voiced his suspicion, and while saying this, his eyes were fixed on Ouyang Feifei, “So, you were annoyed, and directly sent her abroad and forbid her from seeing again, right?”

“I don’t know what you are talking about,” Ouyang Feifei avoided Luo Ziling’s gaze and turned her head, “Grandfather had already warned her before, if she causes another ss, she would go abroad to study, and she agreed herself. It was Grandfather’s arrangent, not my demand.”

“Then tell , did I sleep with her that night I was drunk?”

“I don’t know,” Ouyang Feifei still did not turn around, “I was drunk too, and I went to sleep when I got ho. I don’t know what happened.”

“But others will tell you, right?”

“What exactly do you want to do?” Ouyang Feifei turned around, glaring at Luo Ziling angrily, “If you care so much about Huihui, you can talk to Grandfather. If they agree and you are willing to marry her, then everyone will allow you two to be together.”

“Forget it, then I won’t ask anymore, I’m leaving,” Luo Ziling said, turning around and preparing to leave.

“Wait a mont,” Ouyang Feifei quickly took a few steps and blocked Luo Ziling’s path, “Do you think, the way you treat , is it fair?”

“What’s called fair, and what’s called unfair?”

Ouyang Feifei did not answer imdiately, but turned around to close the office door. When Luo Ziling entered earlier, he hadn’t closed the door completely, but left it ajar. If their voices were loud during the conversation, the secretaries and assistants outside the office might hear what they were saying.

“I think, I haven’t done anything to wrong you, in any aspect, I haven’t made any mistakes, why do you treat this way?” As she spoke, Ouyang Feifei’s face showed grievance, and her eyes reddened a bit.

She indeed felt wronged; she had made so many compromises to help Luo Ziling, and they had also shared so many intimate monts. Unexpectedly, Luo Ziling did not care about her actions and efforts and treated her increasingly poorly, which made her depressed and sleep poorly.

Today, Luo Ziling blaming her for things related to Ouyang Huihui, she could no longer hide her grievances and vented them to his face.

Luo Ziling did not expect Ouyang Feifei to accuse him like this, and was montarily at a loss for words, standing there in astonishnt.

Seeing Luo Ziling’s weakened stance, Ouyang Feifei felt even more aggrieved, her lips pouting.

Ouyang Feifei, who always portrayed a strong woman image, showing such expressions, made one feel unavoidably sympathetic.

But he was also at a loss about how to comfort her, standing there frozen.
