Chapter 1622: Chapter 1622: Could it be so kind of conspiracy

After breakfast, all delegation mbers left the hotel and took a car to the University of Tokyo.

The University of Tokyo is Japan’s highest academic institution, ranked first overall in Japan and Asia. Since its establishnt, it has produced eight Nobel Prize winners and sixteen pri ministers, its influence in Japan unmatched by other universities.

It’s universally acknowledged across Asia that Japan’s modern dical developnt is the most advanced in the region, and the School of dicine, University of Tokyo is the leader in the Japanese dical field. It can be said to be Asia’s best dical University.

This dical school does not recruit students from Huaxia, and several science faculties at the University of Tokyo are incredibly difficult to get into. So jokingly say that those who can get into the University’s top three science faculties, including the dical faculty, are super geniuses.

On the first day of the delegation’s visit, the Japanese side arranged for them to visit this famous academic institution and interact with fellow dical peers there. The goal clearly is to give Huaxia people a hard ti and let them experience the modernization of Japanese dical discoveries, igniting a sense of inferiority in them.

While in the car, many were quietly discussing this situation; the prestigious na of the School of dicine at the University of Tokyo sparked trepidation among so people.

Amid the group’s discussion, a resonant male voice suddenly rang out: “Japan’s modern dical developnt is indeed faster than ours, but it’s just modern dicine. They can’t prioritize traditional dicine over modern dicine, and since we are a traditional dicine delegation, the issues we want to exchange on are related to traditional dicine, so there’s nothing to fear,”

Luo Ziling, who was conversing quietly with Lin Lan, looked up to see that it was Gu Changwei sitting in front.

Gu Changwei’s words resonated with so, and many agreed with his perspective, saying that everyone practiced traditional dicine. Even if the Japanese use modern dicine to compare and have an upper hand, it would not be a fair victory.

“Why do we feel that traditional dicine must be inferior to Western dicine?” Luo Ziling expressed his dissatisfaction after listening, “Do we really think traditional dicine has declined? Why don’t you pay attention to those patients who couldn’t be cured by Western dicine but recovered under our traditional dicine thods? Such cases are not isolated but widespread, and I’ve encountered several such cases in the re half-year I’ve been in Yanjing.”

Luo Ziling’s words instantly silenced the entire cabin, with so people casting glances at him while others remained silent.

Gu Changwei felt aggrieved, believing his original intent wasn’t wrong.

The primary goal of this Huaxia traditional dicine delegation visiting Japan was to exchange with Japan’s traditional dicine experts, not to compare with so-called modern Western dicine. He thought Huaxia was superior in traditional dicine and could completely overwhelm Japan’s traditional dicine sector, but the gap in modern dicine was still substantial. He also hoped the Japanese side wouldn’t use modern dicine to compare with Huaxia’s traditional dicine since the evaluation criteria differ.

Upon hearing everyone discuss the prowess of the School of dicine at the University of Tokyo, he didn’t want their words to boost others’ morale, hence he said what he did. Unexpectedly, Luo Ziling interpreted it as traditional dicine being inferior and lacking confidence.

That certainly wasn’t his intention!

But Luo Ziling’s words left him unable to argue.

Because Luo Ziling was not wrong, and the discussions in the car just now conveyed such a sentint; so felt that traditional dicine couldn’t compare to modern dicine in treatnt thods and cure rates, hence their timidity.

Ultimately, he chose wisely not to argue with Luo Ziling and remained silent.

Yesterday, he had already been humiliated by Luo Ziling and didn’t want a repeat today.

Having studied traditional dicine for a long ti, he understood Huaxia’s cultural trait of patience and knew that outstanding performance at critical tis was more attention-grabbing and surprising than always being high-profile, just like the venerable monk at Shaolin Temple.

Luo Ziling’s words cleared away the discussions inside the car, everyone temporarily lost interest in speaking, and silence prevailed.

So who underestimated themselves felt very ashad; indeed, they lacked confidence, which bred their sense of fear.

“Young man, pretty good,” said the alluring woman sitting behind Luo Ziling, who had ntioned wanting to consult with him at night but ultimately didn’t co over. She gave him a thumbs-up and praised him: “I feel that you would be the most fitting leader of this delegation; if you were in charge, the Japanese wouldn’t get any advantage this ti, and our delegation could definitely have a performance that makes people proud.”

“If I, the youngest, were to beco the leader, do you think anyone would listen to ?” Luo Ziling displayed a bitter smile.

“Having ambition doesn’t depend on age; without ambition, even a hundred years are in vain. What’s the problem?” The woman truly respected Luo Ziling.

Sitting beside them, Shanque also quickly agreed, praising Luo Ziling as very capable.

Just Luo Ziling enabling Li Haiyang to recover from paralysis and regain mobility made her imnsely respect Luo Ziling.

Not to ntion that Luo Ziling saved Lin Lan’s life several tis, cleared her facial acne, and provided them with nurous dicines.

One point they hadn’t told Luo Ziling was that they successfully completed two missions using his dicines.

Although those two missions weren’t major nor worthy of ntion, Luo Ziling’s provisions made things easier and reduced so trouble, which they were certainly grateful for.

Soon, the car arrived at the School of dicine, University of Tokyo.

The University of Tokyo features many distinctively styled buildings that, at first glance, you’ll rember.

When the car arrived, several official Japanese mbers and representatives from the school were standing there to welco them.

The weather in early March was deceptive, the cold persisting amidst warming trends. Today’s overcast skies delivered gusts of cold wind, ensuring anyone standing outside long enough would shiver down to their bones.

The welcoming party included a University of Tokyo vice president responsible for traditional dicine affairs. Having caught a cold several days ago, standing in the wind was challenging for him. While dressed more warmly than others, his advanced age and persisting health issues made enduring the chill very uncomfortable.

However, the Japanese are ticulous in conduct, and having been outperford by the Huaxia delegation during exchanges yesterday, they were even less willing to fall short in terms of etiquette.

After the delegation mbers alighted, Japanese personnel ca forward, shook hands with the main leaders of the delegation, and exchanged introductions.

Yet, amidst the bustling greetings of the crowd, the University of Tokyo vice president suddenly felt dizzy spells and couldn’t maintain himself, slowly collapsing.

Fortunately, soone nearby reacted swiftly and imdiately supported him.

Hu Wenjun, who had just shaken hands with this vice president, felt his heart tighten upon witnessing this and grew wary: Could the Japanese side be up to so more tricks?
