Chapter 1704: Chapter 1704: Why Is This Woman Getting Involved Too?

When the Huaxia delegation left the venue, everyone was astonished to find that the security level inside and outside the venue had been significantly increased.

Ard special police officers and countless regular officers were stationed at the passageways and outside the venue.

The mbers of the Huaxia delegation were separated by a human wall of police, or it could be said they were escorted out of the venue by the police.

The intention of the Korean police was obvious; they were certainly afraid that angry Koreans might do sothing extre when the Huaxia delegation was leaving. With the protection of the Korean police, all mbers of the delegation and other Huaxia spectators left the venue safely.

There were also many police officers maintaining order on the streets outside the venue. When the delegation’s bus began its journey back to the hotel, it was escorted by two police cars, one in front and one behind.

The police’s preventive asures were necessary; they controlled so agitated individuals at the scene, and at least several dozens were taken to the police for investigation. If a large number of police hadn’t arrived on the scene, who knows what the result would have been.

On the ride back, the mbers of the delegation were very excited. Even the head of the delegation, Hu Wenjun, and the deputy head, Wang Rongshan, abandoned their usual seriousness to warmly greet and congratulate Luo Ziling on his victory in today’s competition.

Wu Qingping, the vice-chairman of the dical Association, who was accompanying the delegation but had kept a low profile, praised Luo Ziling with the saying “the student surpasses the master” and called Luo Ziling a prodigy in the field of traditional dicine, hoping he would study hard during his years at university and strive to gain a good reputation in both traditional and modern dicine.

Among these officials, the proudest was Wu Mingyun, the dean of Yan University dical School.

Luo Ziling was his student, and with his student’s achievents being praised by netizens as a “national hero” and “national male idol,” as the dean, he was overjoyed. It was his honor, after all, as he was the one who recomnded Luo Ziling to the delegation.

During the delegation’s visit to Japan and South Korea, several leaders in the group had blad him for bringing the unruly Luo Ziling along, fearing he might cause trouble. In the end, his decision proved to be great and correct. Without his strong recomndation, none of this would have happened, and the challenge against the Korean side wouldn’t have had such a huge impact.

Wu Mingyun believed that after this event, traditional dicine would get more attention, and the talk of abolishing Chinese dicine would be suppressed.

He decided that after returning, he would sit down with Luo Ziling and discuss how to use his current influence to do sothing.

He also planned to make Luo Ziling the image ambassador of the dical school, have Luo Ziling’s image printed on admission notices, and involve him in a series of activities to fully exploit Luo Ziling’s value.

Luo Ziling’s thoughts were much simpler; what he was thinking about most was that acupuncture bronze man.

The embassy staff told him that the embassy would negotiate the handover of the bronze man with the Korean side and handle all the formalities. They would use special channels to bring the acupuncture bronze man back to China and then hand it over to Luo Ziling.

As for how to handle the acupuncture bronze man after bringing it back to China, that would depend on the discussions between Luo Ziling and the national heritage departnt, and it had nothing to do with the embassy. Luo Ziling was still a little uneasy about not personally arranging the return of the acupuncture bronze man.

But Ling Ruonan told him not to worry, she would personally oversee this, and Ambassador Luo Zhiwei would personally take charge of it.

With his mother’s words, Luo Ziling was sowhat reassured.

Originally, the Korean side was supposed to host lunch today, but after so many unpleasant events during the competition, Hu Wenjun and Wang Rongshan, after consulting with embassy staff, decisively brought the mbers of the delegation back to the hotel to organize their al.

The mbers of the delegation returned to the hotel at around one in the afternoon.

By that ti, alti had passed, and many people were so hungry their stomachs were almost glued to their backs, like Luo Ziling, but no one complained.

While waiting at the restaurant, everyone remained in high spirits.

Most mbers of the delegation, upon arriving at the restaurant, ca over to congratulate Luo Ziling and asked to take photos with him.

Luo Ziling did not refuse and cooperated with each request.

Ling Ruonan did not participate; she went next door to discuss matters with Luo Zhiwei, the ambassador to South Korea, who had rushed over upon hearing the news, while Yang Qingyin and Luo Yuqing returned to their rooms to change clothes and freshen up. They knew the delegation mbers would certainly congratulate Luo Ziling, so they tactfully avoided it.

Gu Jian’an also congratulated Luo Ziling.

“After watching your competition today, I realized how far my acupuncture skills are from yours. Claiming to be the world’s best acupuncturist was truly overestimating myself.” Gu Jian’an pointed to He Yan, Wang Xuyun, and others surrounding Luo Ziling and said, “I used to think beating them at acupuncture ant invincibility, but now, thinking back, I was truly ignorant. I hope in the future, I’ll have the opportunity to learn from Mr. Luo and your grandfather, and I ask for your guidance.”

With that, he even bowed to Luo Ziling.

Luo Ziling hurriedly sidestepped to avoid it, politely responding that they must exchange more in the future.

“Why didn’t Sir Gu participate in the competition this ti?” In fact, Luo Ziling didn’t know that Gu Jian’an’s acupuncture skills were better than He Yan, Wang Xuyun, and Cheng Bushi. He was also curious why Gu Jian’an didn’t take the initiative to stand out during yesterday’s competition.

If he had stepped up, he would surely have defeated the Korean representative.

But Gu Jian’an didn’t answer Luo Ziling’s question, only saying that he was getting old and just wanted to see more of the world during this visit, and he wasn’t much interested in the competition. As he said this, Gu Jian’an had a bitter smile on his face.

Luo Ziling vaguely guessed that being disliked by Yang Yuanshan and losing the job of personal doctor was quite a blow to Gu Jian’an.

Gu Jian’an had always been Yang Yuanshan’s personal doctor, but despite his self-professed good dical skills, he failed to detect the tumor inside Yang Yuanshan’s body, couldn’t prevent it, and certainly couldn’t eliminate the tumor, which made Yang Yuanshan angry.

Gu Jian’an was too ashad to continue working with Yang Yuanshan, using his lack of dical skills as an excuse to resign from the personal doctor position.

If not for Gu Jian’an’s resignation, Yang Yuanshan might not have taken the decisive step to invite Luo Ziling for treatnt.

Of course, that’s a side story.

The delegation mbers were too enthusiastic, and eventually, Luo Ziling used the excuse of needing to go to the bathroom to escape their entanglent.

These people relentlessly asked him to teach so acupuncture skills and about the Life-saving Elixir, so Luo Ziling had no choice but to run away.

When he dashed into the bathroom, his phone happened to ring.

Seeing it was a ssage from an unfamiliar number, he wasn’t very interested in looking at it, but the content of the ssage caught his attention.

“It’s only been two days, and I already see you in a new light. Congratulations on your victory.”

After thinking for a while, Luo Ziling realized this ssage was from Chen Xiaoyi.

He replied with a ssage of thanks and saved the number.

Just after Luo Ziling finished his business and washed his hands, he received another ssage.

“I want to co to South Korea to see you; I’ve already bought the ticket, from Paris to Seoul in ten hours. I hope to see you tomorrow morning.”

Seeing the ssage, Luo Ziling was stunned for a mont before he reacted.

This should be a ssage from Ouyang Huihui.

This woman, why is she also joining the excitent?
