(After midnight, there will be five chapters updated, stay tuned)

When he ca back after the morning exercise, Luo Yuqing was already up. Seeing Luo Ziling return, she kept complaining about not being woken up for the exercise, saying she could have joined them to practice so martial arts and jog along.

“I have been following Grandpa for morning exercises these days, and yet today you didn’t call ,” Luo Yuqing angrily pinched Luo Ziling’s arm once, twice, three, four tis until he had no choice but to run away.

Watching Luo Yuqing and Luo Ziling like this, Luo Liansheng chuckled heartily.

Having a granddaughter suddenly appear out of nowhere, and such a beautiful and adorable one, Luo Liansheng was very happy.

More importantly, Luo Yuqing was very well-behaved and thoughtful, always able to cheer him up, and he really liked this lovely granddaughter that seed to co from the skies.

Seeing that Luo Ziling and Luo Yuqing got along well, playfully bickering from ti to ti, he was even more delighted.

What he looked forward to most next was for Luo Ziling to marry a virtuous wife and Luo Yuqing to wed a good husband.

If there was a chance for four or five generations to live under one roof, he would be even happier.

After the three had breakfast together, Luo Ziling went to attend the delegation comndation ceremony, while Luo Yuqing accompanied Luo Liansheng for a stroll outside.

The rank of the officials attending the comndation ceremony was quite high, surprising all the delegation mbers.

Fang Dongxun’s grandfather, one of the several elders, Fang Xiang, unexpectedly attended the event. Alongside him was also a deputy from the highest administrative office, the director and deputy director of the health departnt, as well as major leaders of the Traditional Chinese dicine Administration Bureau.

Hu Wenjun and Wang Rongshan, who had not received any prior notice, were all flustered seeing these officials present.

They could only hurriedly arrange seats, making last-minute adjustnts on the podium.

As the Fang Family Head, Fang Xiang was nearly seventy, holding a high and respected position, and usually would not participate in such events.

Although Luo Ziling was not entirely sure of Fang Xiang’s authority and usual schedule, he knew that Fang Xiang’s attendance at today’s comndation event likely had sothing to do with him. Sure enough, when the director of the Health and Family Planning Commission announced the start of the comndation ceremony, Fang Xiang first explained his reason for attending.

“A few days ago, I watched a dical competition between one of our young talents and a South Korean physician, and was very impressed. Upon hearing that the delegation returned yesterday and is holding a comndation eting today, I wanted to co and et this national hero revered by countless netizens.”

Fang Xiang’s words astonished the accompanying officials and other attendees.

Luo Ziling was also a bit surprised, not expecting Fang Xiang to be so candid.

After explaining his purpose, Fang Xiang didn’t say much more.

The comndation continued as originally planned.

First, the head of the delegation, deputy director of the Health and Family Planning Commission, Hu Wenjun, reported on the visit’s course and accomplishnts.

Since it was an official speech, Hu Wenjun’s report tried to downplay the competition and political aspects, focusing mostly on the technical exchanges and the achievents gained through them.

Hu Wenjun praised all the delegation mbers, saying they united with one heart, supported each other, and brought glory to the country in the technical competition. He nad a few who participated in the competition and, after praising them, devoted a substantial section to comnd Luo Ziling’s performance.

In the script, the praise for Luo Ziling only took up one-third of the entire section, but because of Fang Xiang’s earlier comnts, Hu Wenjun added so remarks temporarily. He said he was truly astonished by Luo Ziling, who had just recently co of age, yet mastered such exquisite dical skills. By showcasing his abilities, he forced Ishihara Tarou, the revered National dicine Expert of Japan, to concede voluntarily, and won a significant victory in the globally broadcasted acupuncture contest with a South Korean physician, enhancing the nation’s honor and silencing voices calling for the abolition of traditional Chinese dicine.

The temporary remarks from Hu Wenjun were roughly as follows: Xu Chongzhi practiced acupuncture skills with the acupuncture bronze man from a young age, reaching a level of proficiency that surpassed Luo Ziling, gaining a huge advantage. However, Luo Ziling, who had only recently started practicing with the acupuncture bronze man, remained calm under extrely disadvantageous circumstances, fought steadily, and ultimately won. This is truly a comndable and celebratory event, bringing glory to the country and honor to Huaxia’s traditional dicine.

After Hu Wenjun finished speaking, the director of the Health and Family Planning Commission also used a brief section to comnd the delegation mbers’ outstanding performance, especially highlighting young talents like Luo Ziling. In the future, the Health and Family Planning Commission and the Traditional Chinese dicine Administration Bureau aid to increase the support for such young talents. He also hoped Luo Ziling would teach his exceptional skills to more people, allowing Huaxia’s traditional dicine to further benefit the people.

Finally, Fang Xiang spoke.

“Director Wang and Director Hu have already said a lot, so I’ll also briefly share so of my thoughts,” Fang Xiang, breaking from his usual stern deanor, humorously talked about Luo Ziling, “When I saw so many people spontaneously going to the airport to welco him ho on TV, I was truly touched. I thought, when I return from a visit abroad, I might not even get such spontaneous welcos, and even if people do co, it’s an official arrangent, hence I’m quite envious of young friend Luo Ziling enjoying such a reception, admired by netizens as a national hero. I’m even more envious of him being called a national idol for his looks, as he’s likely the only one who can bear the titles of national hero and national idol at the sa ti. I imagine, in the future, Mr. Luo Ziling will definitely boast to his descendants about how impressive he was back in the day.”

Fang Xiang’s remarks were t with very enthusiastic applause and laughter from the entire room. His staff mbers were greatly surprised to see their leader being so humorous today, as it was completely out of character.

Once the applause subsided, Fang Xiang continued, “A young man like Luo Ziling, in his early twenties, already mastering such exquisite dical skills and gaining the upper hand in dical competitions with renowned foreign doctors, not only brought honor to the country but also recovered the national treasure, the acupuncture bronze man. We should award him significantly for any of these achievents. All delegation mbers who brought glory to the country should also be rewarded. This matter will be handed over to the Health and Family Planning Commission and the Traditional Chinese dicine Administration Bureau for implentation. They need to devise a support plan, with special considerations for unique circumstances. Many people once thought traditional Chinese dicine was outdated, but, as it turns out, that is not the case. Recently, I’ve seen and heard many miracles created by traditional dicine. Therefore, traditional dicine still holds significant potential for developnt. If more talented young individuals like Luo Ziling erge in the traditional dicine community, blending various academic essences to further develop traditional dicine, it would be a blessing for the dical world and Huaxia. Hence, we must create more opportunities for them and provide better research conditions.”

Fang Xiang’s words were once again t with very enthusiastic applause.
