The next morning during their exercise routine, Luo Ziling directly asked Luo Liansheng, who was exercising with him, “Grandpa, does Gu Jian’an want to send his grandson to study acupuncture with us?”

I just said that I’d discuss it with you,” Luo Liansheng chuckled and said, “Gu Changwei doesn’t want to formally beco your apprentice; he just wants to learn acupuncture. “Let’s not worry about them for now. We’ll consider it when they visit us to discuss it,” Luo Liansheng didn’t think much of it.

“You’re really anxious,” Luo Ziling chuckled at Wu Mingyun, “I feel like you’re more eager than I am, even more impulsive.”
“If the new program gets approved, we can start enrolling students next sester,” Li Jinghui continued, “so we hope to know by the end of March if it will happen. The national laboratory issue is not as urgent.”
Wu Mingyun added, “The application is in process, but with instructions from above, they’ll surely expedite it.”
“Yan University is not an ordinary university; it’s one of the top universities in Huaxia. I don’t think the higher-ups will ignore your opinions and suggestions. I believe in a few days, there should be a result,” Luo Ziling said, of course not ntioning discussing this with Wang Zhengqiang to the two principals.
He wanted to avoid trouble and didn’t want people to know about his special relationship with Wang Zhengqiang, so he kept his answers vague.
Luo Ziling’s answer made Li Jinghui and Wu Mingyun very excited.
At that mont, Li Jinghui’s office phone rang.
Seeing the red special line phone ringing, Li Jinghui’s smile froze, and he gestured for silence to Wu Mingyun and Luo Ziling before picking up the phone.
“Principal Li, this is Wang Zhengqiang.” The caller identified himself, leaving Li Jinghui dumbfounded.
It was the top administrative official calling him, which left him montarily at a loss.
Li Jinghui’s position is not low, being at a deputy ministerial level.
But compared to Wang Zhengqiang, there’s a significant gap.
He had interacted with Wang Zhengqiang a few tis, but those were at etings or other public events with no private interactions.
Today, with Wang Zhengqiang personally calling him, Li Jinghui was so excited that he didn’t quite know what to say.
“I heard you want to establish a National Traditional dicine Laboratory and also set up a traditional dicine program separate from modern dicine at your university?” Wang Zhengqiang directly inquired about the matter.
Li Jinghui was even more surprised that Wang Zhengqiang called about this, but he couldn’t help feeling thrilled.
He took a deep breath to calm himself before answering Wang Zhengqiang’s question.
“This afternoon, have a few of you co to my office to discuss this with colleagues from the Ministry of Education, the Health and Family Planning Commission, and the Traditional Chinese dicine Administration Bureau,” Wang Zhengqiang stated his decision and then seriously added, “Traditional dicine is a treasure passed down for thousands of years in Huaxia. In recent years, there have been many voices disparaging traditional dicine, calling it pseudoscience, but the facts have proven that traditional dicine is quite magical. Recently, we’ve seen many surprises, so we must promote and pass it on well.”
Wang Zhengqiang’s words made Li Jinghui’s blood boil.
