For both of them, accompanying Ling Jinhua during his visit and inspection was the most important task over these two days.
They postponed other matters or delegated them to their assistants.
Although Ling Jinhua initially displayed an aggressive deanor, he did not exhibit this emotion in the afternoon and showed no emotional exposure during the tour.
At 2 PM, Ling Jinhua went to so places in Puxi near the Huangpu River to take a look around.

Ling Jinhua had spent several years in Zhonghai, but that was decades ago. The places where he had stayed had mostly changed beyond recognition, except for The Bund, which had not changed much.

On the way to Pudong, Zhang Yiwen quietly asked Luo Ziling if Ling Jinhua could stay in Zhonghai for another night.

Zhang Yiwen understood the implication in Luo Ziling’s words: if necessary, he could ensure Ling Jinhua didn’t have the energy to go to Qiantang.
“It’s a rare occasion for Sir Ling to visit Zhonghai, and it’s also your first ti here, Luo. You should definitely stay a few days so we can be good hosts,” Zhang Yiwen said with a smile. “We also hope to have the opportunity to hear more teachings from Sir Ling and to have a good chat with you, Luo.”
“I’ll ask the old man’s opinion later,” Luo Ziling didn’t commit clearly.
When the vehicle arrived at the first destination, Ye Yuanyi also expressed a similar opinion, hoping Ling Jinhua could stay another night in Zhonghai. He wanted to chat privately with Ling Jinhua and also have a good conversation with Luo Ziling.
Luo Ziling’s response was similar to the one he gave Zhang Yiwen.

Finding an opportunity, Luo Ziling ntioned to Luo Liansheng about Zhang Yiwen and Ye Yuanyi approaching him.
Luo Liansheng understood Luo Ziling’s intent and suggested that after visiting so places, they would see that Ling Jinhua might beco physically exhausted. After all, his performance over the past two days totally defied his age of ninety. Ling Jinhua attended many activities that would make anyone else feel tired.
Pudong developed relatively late, but because of this, everything there was new.
Ling Jinhua didn’t visit many places, only going to a few symbolic areas.
During the tour, Luo Ziling kept a low profile, staying by Ling Jinhua’s side without offering opinions lightly.
Ouyang Feifei left after visiting the Oriental Pearl to discuss matters with Zhonghai officials.

The car Huang Chen arranged was scheduled to leave from Hongqiao Station at 5:30 PM. Therefore, it was ti to head to the station.
Seeing Ling Jinhua’s fatigue, Huang Chen hesitated and asked Luo Ziling and Luo Liansheng about Ling Jinhua’s physical condition and whether he could endure the trip to Qiantang.
“My suggestion is to rest for one more night before setting off,” Luo Liansheng expressed his view. “I will administer acupuncture treatnt, after which the old man’s complexion will surely improve. Why not go tomorrow morning instead? It’s not like one more night will make a difference. Once in Qiantang, we shouldn’t rush around again and let him properly rest.”
Huang Chen nodded in agreent after hearing Luo Liansheng’s words.
However, he didn’t decide privately and went with Luo Liansheng to ask Ling Jinhua’s opinion.
After hearing what Ling Jinhua said, Luo Liansheng didn’t insist and agreed to stay another night in Zhonghai before leaving.
He relied heavily on the efficacy of Luo Liansheng’s treatnt and truly felt tired that afternoon. His condition was completely different from the morning and the previous two days.
He didn’t dare push himself, so he followed Luo Liansheng’s advice.
