In the evening, Luo Ziling received a call from Ling Ruonan.
After catching up on the recent events with Ling Ruonan, Luo Ziling received instructions.

Ouyang Feifei also accompanied Ling Jinhua to Gusu and Yangzhou. But when Ling Jinhua left Yangzhou to return to Yanjing, she chose to go to Jinling, together with Luo Liansheng.
At the end of the Yangzhou trip, Ling Jinhua prepared to return to Yanjing.
Since there is no high-speed rail passing through Yangzhou, they proceeded to Jinling.
This trip took more than ten days, and when they returned to Yanjing, it was already the day before Qingming Festival.
On leaving Yangzhou by car, Luo Ziling smiled and said to Ling Jinhua, “Great Grandfather, as the ancients said: ‘Fireworks in March descend on Yangzhou,’ we finally made it here at the most fitting season. “It’s alright!” Ling Jinhua gently nodded, “At least my old bones can still handle it; covering so much ground without collapsing.”
“That’s credit to my grandfather,” Luo Ziling pointed to Luo Liansheng who was sitting beside him, “Without him, you probably wouldn’t be able to endure even a single place.”
Luo Liansheng chuckled softly, not saying anything.
Ling Jinhua cast a sidelong glance at Luo Ziling, slightly displeased, and said: “Are you trying to claim credit for your grandfather?”
“Of course!” Luo Ziling nodded in affirmation without reservation, “Indeed, my grandfather and I have invigorated you.”
Ling Jinhua remained silent.
Luo Ziling didn’t say anything further either.
However, the groundwork had been laid, and Luo Ziling had already planned what to say next.
When Ling Jinhua took the high-speed rail back to Yanjing, it was already evening.
Ling Mingrui, Ling Ruonan, Ling Zhengping, and so other descendants of the Ling Family were at the station to greet him.
There was no official welco, unlike when Ling Jinhua left before.
This was a deliberate arrangent by Ling Jinhua and a requirent from Ling Mingrui.
The Ling Family mbers ca to the station to greet their elder without using officials’ vehicles or staging any ceremony, so there was no concern about being criticized.
Ling Mingrui originally worried that Ling Jinhua might be too exhausted from the whirlwind tour, but surprisingly, after returning to Yanjing, Ling Jinhua was in high spirits, even better than when he’d left Yanjing.
However, he realized this was surely due to the rit of Luo Liansheng.
Luo Liansheng did not return to Yanjing by train; he and Ouyang Feifei went to Jinling. From Jinling, he planned to take a high-speed rail to Yuezhou, intending to stay in Yuezhou for so ti before heading back to Yanjing.
Initially, Luo Ziling also wanted to go to Yuezhou with Luo Liansheng, but Luo Liansheng asked him to accompany Ling Jinhua back to Yanjing, so he had to obey.
“Grandfather, during these days out, my grandfather consistently treated Great Grandfather!” Luo Ziling promptly explained.
“Thanks to this grandfather-grandson duo taking care, otherwise my old bones would have given up long ago.” Ling Jinhua laughed as he repeated similar words.
Ling Mingrui nodded lightly, refraining from further comnt.
Ling Ruonan and Ling Zhengping also ca to inquire, afterward, Luo Ziling and Ling Mingrui assisted Ling Jinhua off the train and into the waiting car on the platform.
Ling Mingrui shared the car with Ling Jinhua, while Luo Ziling sat together with Ling Ruonan.

Ling Ruonan did not probe further, her voice calm as she said, “Let’s go to the old house to have a al together first, after which we’ll go ho, and then you can tell about what happened during the trip.”
“Alright!” Luo Ziling readily agreed.
Just during the welcoming, Luo Ziling greeted Ling Mingrui, exchanged words with a few Ling Family descendants Ling Haiyang, and Ling Haijun, but ignored Ling Zhengping.
He pretended not to see him.
Ling Zhengping also did not greet him, both parties treating each other as if invisible.
An early dinner arrangent was already in place, and when Ling Jinhua’s entourage arrived at the old house, the al was served.
