The aning behind Yang Yuanshan’s words wasn’t very complicated.
He was just surprised that Luo Ziling didn’t seem to be against him doing such things.

Yang Yuanshan was implying he wanted to know if Luo Ziling planned to go with them by saying he wanted to take Yang Qingyin.

“What do you think of the recent events?” Yang Yuanshan changed the topic.
Luo Ziling didn’t imdiately answer Yang Yuanshan’s question, instead, he asked, “As rely a pawn, I don’t have the self-awareness of being one, that’s my evaluation of myself. Sir Yang, what do you think of my performance in this matter?”
“You’re truly soone who gives many people headaches!” Yang Yuanshan remarked earnestly while looking at Luo Ziling, “In the future, no one will treat you as just a young person.”
“I take Sir Yang’s words as a complint.”
“You’ve stirred up quite the storm in Yanjing,” Yang Yuanshan said, squinting at Luo Ziling. “No one expected this matter to be triggered by you, nor did anyone foresee the major role you would play. I reckon, the brothers Chen Ruchang, Chen Yining, and Chen Yijing might now have a stronger desire than ever to eliminate you.”
“There are still many who want to kill , but I hope none of them are from the Yang Family!” Luo Ziling responded to Yang Yuanshan seriously.
Yang Yuanshan smiled, not directly replying to Luo Ziling, but instead remarked profoundly, “You’ve been a great help to the Yang Family, and no one will forget that.”
Hearing this, Luo Ziling also smiled, “That’s as it should be!”
“It’s just that after all your hard work, most of what you’ve achieved has been taken by others. Aren’t you unwilling?”

He hesitated for a mont before continuing, “And as a major participant, I ultimately can’t even secure a supporting role; everyone ignores my existence, and no one wants to give benefits. However, I don’t mind. The fact that I’m unhard is enough.”
“You’re avoiding the crucial points!” Yang Yuanshan interrupted Luo Ziling’s words, “You haven’t ntioned the main things.”
“You’ve already decided to let go of the grievances with the Ling Family and plan to enhance cooperation. You hope the Ling Family won’t grow too close to the Fang Family. Additionally, you want to help the Chen Family, so they will be grateful to you. The Fang Family has similar thoughts, but neither of your families dares to act too excessively for now.” At this point, Luo Ziling laughed at himself, “Please don’t overestimate , Sir Yang. This is all I can say; too complex a matter, I don’t understand.”
Yang Yuanshan gave Luo Ziling a aningful look but said nothing in the end.
After a silent mont, sipping tea, Yang Yuanshan asked Luo Ziling another question: “What are your plans?”
“What is Sir Yang referring to?”
“What kind of goals do you aim to achieve?”
“I want to build my own noble family, but I won’t force anything, just go with the flow. I don’t want to live too exhausting a life; I want a carefree and unrestrained life. This past half-year has been tiring enough. I’ve been sched against countless tis, and I don’t want to live that kind of life anymore.” Luo Ziling spoke frankly.
“Perhaps you will succeed.” Yang Yuanshan smiled and continued to drink his tea.
After a while, Yang Qingyin appeared at the courtyard door, and upon seeing her, Yang Yuanshan gestured for her to co over.
Yang Qingyin quickly ran over and sat beside Yang Yuanshan.
“You’ve been here several tis; why not take Luo for a walk nearby? The scenery is quite nice around here!” Yang Yuanshan said with a smile, looking at Yang Qingyin, “Grandfather is tired as well and will close his eyes for a bit. You can go play on your own!”
Yang Qingyin imdiately reacted, breaking into a radiant smile, “Okay, Grandfather, I’ll take Ziling for a stroll nearby.”
Yang Yuanshan didn’t say anything further, he just waved his hand at Luo Ziling and Yang Qingyin, signaling them to go.
Luo Ziling then bid farewell and walked out of the courtyard with Yang Qingyin.
“The scenery nearby is indeed nice. I’ll show you around casually, just avoid going where you shouldn’t!” Yang Qingyin whispered to Luo Ziling, “There are many places nearby where influential people reside. Although they might not have the sa status as my grandfather, we should not disturb them.”
“I’m not familiar with the place; you be the guide and take around,” Luo Ziling smiled.
After leaving the old residence, Luo Ziling turned to Yang Qingyin and teasingly asked, “You seem so happy, is there sothing to celebrate?”
Yang Qingyin’s face was always full of smiles, and Luo Ziling couldn’t help but want to tease her a bit.
“Annoying,” Yang Qingyin, of course, knew Luo Ziling was asking knowingly, gave him a playful kick, “You just love to tease .”
“Your grandfather wants everyone to know that he has accepted , is willing to let us be together, right?” Luo Ziling straightforwardly revealed, “It seems that my excellence has even surprised him, and through his granddaughter, he wants to win over!”
Yang Qingyin rolled her eyes at Luo Ziling, retorting, “It turns a good thing into sothing so unbearable when it cos from your mouth. How much resentnt do you have?”
Luo Ziling ignored Yang Qingyin’s complaining, smilingly asking her, “Can I co to propose anyti I want?”
Unexpectedly, Luo Ziling spoke so directly that Yang Qingyin’s face imdiately flushed red.
