“Yes, yes, Cao Jianhui is exactly like that!” Li Fuming shalessly chid in with a smile, mocking Cao Jianhui, “You’re transferring all your bad habits to the boss, what’s your intention?”
Wu Longjiang also ridiculed Cao Jianhui, “These things seem to happen to you, surprised you rember it so well. Of course, we can’t let you bla the boss. We’ll stand up for him and prove you’re lying. When the ti cos, a whole sester’s dinner can make us speak on your behalf, not a single al less.”
“Scram!” Cao Jianhui, a bit irritated, kicked Wu Longjiang, “I’d cover them, but not you—eating for three people alone, are you a glutton reborn?”

“Co over for dinner at your grandparents’ tonight. I’m about to head over, when are you coming?”
Hearing Ling Ruonan say this over the phone, Luo Ziling quickly explained, “Mom, I almost forgot we’re having dinner at grandpa’s tonight, I’ll head over right away, or you can wait for on the way.”
“You can co by yourself, I’m heading over first anyway, they’ll let your car pass.” Ling Ruonan refused to wait for Luo Ziling, “From now on, you should visit them often on your own, you can’t always follow , understand?”
“Okay, I understand!”
After hanging up, Luo Ziling told Cao Jianhui and the others, “I’m having dinner with my mom at my grandparents’ today, so I won’t be able to eat with you guys. For the rest of this sester, I’ll often co back for class and sleep in the dorm, we can chat if there’s anything then.”
“Hope you’ll keep your word!” Cao Jianhui unhappily punched Luo Ziling, “Don’t keep making us three watch over an empty room!”
“Three people watching an empty room? You guys can even play cards together!” Luo Ziling replied with a joking remark, waving them goodbye.
Wuyue had already prepared the car, parked at the school entrance.
Getting in the car, Luo Ziling directly instructed Wuyue to go to Ling Mingrui’s villa.
On the way, Wuyue asked Luo Ziling quietly, “Young Master, Chen Yiping wants to et you, he contacted this afternoon, do you want to see him?”
“Of course, I want to see him!”
“When do you want to et him? Tonight?”
“So other day!” Luo Ziling shook his head, “Last ti I t Chen Yihe after I had dinner at my grandfather’s. If I et with the Chen family people again after tonight’s dinner, my grandfather might misunderstand.”
Luo Ziling was puzzled as to why the Chen brothers, Chen Yihe and Chen Yiping, would both choose the days he dined at Ling Mingrui’s to et him. Was it a coincidence or was soone arranging it deliberately?
Luo Ziling worried that soone might leak information about his whereabouts.
But after so thought, the only one who knew his situation well was Wuyue, and he didn’t believe Wuyue would betray him, so he said nothing further.
The car soon arrived at Ling Mingrui’s villa.
To his surprise, not only were he and Ling Ruonan coming for dinner, but Ling Zhengping was also there.
Not only was Ling Zhengping there, but Ling Haining was also there, along with Ling Zhengping’s wife Wu Yanning.
Seeing Ling Zhengping’s whole family there, Luo Ziling hesitated for a mont and didn’t imdiately greet them.
“Ziling’s here too!” Ling Zhengping greeted Luo Ziling actively, “We were just talking about you with your mom!”
“Hello!” Luo Ziling greeted with a blank expression and nodded at Ling Haining.
He didn’t call them uncle or aunt.
Although Wu Yanning treated him well, Luo Ziling still held a grudge against Ling Zhengping’s past actions, so he wasn’t interested in addressing them.
Seeing Luo Ziling’s indifferent deanor, Ling Zhengping couldn’t help but frown.
