The family dinner was quite harmonious.
Luo Ziling was worried that other Ling Family mbers would co and join the fun tonight.

Luo Ziling relayed to Ling Ruonan the gist of what Ling Mingrui said to him tonight and then shared his speculation: “I think Grandpa intentionally neglected Dad to express his dissatisfaction, wanting him to reflect on it. After hearing Luo Ziling’s words, Ling Ruonan thought it through seriously and ultimately agreed with his analysis.
As they were speaking, Luo Ziling received a call from Yang Qingye, asking where he was and if he was free to have a late-night snack as he had sothing to discuss.

“Mom, let’s talk again after Dad returns and you have a private chat with him!” Luo Ziling was about to leave for the eting with Yang Qingye when he stopped at the door, curious if Grandpa was coming back tonight. “Mom, is Grandpa sleeping here tonight?”
“I don’t know!” Ling Ruonan seed a bit embarrassed, “I’ll ask him later, as we haven’t been in contact since he went out!”
“I’ll try contacting him!” Luo Ziling said, taking out his phone to call Luo Liansheng.
However, the call wasn’t answered by Luo Liansheng, but by Dong Xiaowan, which surprised him.
“Why are you looking for your Grandpa?” Dong Xiaowan rapidly responded before Luo Ziling could ask, “He’s discussing things with my Grandpa and others, and left his phone aside. Do you want to call him?”

After hearing Luo Ziling’s questions, Luo Liansheng told him he wouldn’t be returning tonight. He planned to stay at the school with so of his old friends.
The school had arranged accommodations for them, each with a suite, which was quite nice.
“Alright then!” Luo Ziling didn’t say much more, “Soti I’ll visit your place!”
“Sure!” Luo Liansheng also kept it brief, imdiately hanging up.
Ling Ruonan, standing on the side, heard what Luo Liansheng said and suddenly felt a bit lost.
“Mom, don’t worry, I’ll keep coming back often!” Luo Ziling said with a cheeky grin, “Grandpa is just angry at Dad. Once Dad reflects and adjusts, everything will be fine. If it’s still early later, I’ll go check on Grandpa.”
“Alright,” Ling Ruonan didn’t say much more.
As Luo Ziling left the villa, he received a WeChat ssage from Yang Qingye, along with a location pin.
He was waiting for Luo Ziling at a teahouse not far from the school.
Upon arriving at the teahouse and entering the private room, Yang Qingye excitedly stood up.
“Brother-in-law, it’s been so long since we t, and you didn’t even miss . I’m quite upset.” Yang Qingye stood up and walked towards Luo Ziling, “But, I’ve been going out frequently these days without telling you, so I can’t bla it all on you. But you haven’t kept in touch either, and you don’t reply to my ssages, do you not care about your brother-in-law?”
“So what do you want?” Luo Ziling asked, a bit amused.
“At least you should treat to this late-night snack tonight, right?” Yang Qingye said with a smug face.
“No problem!”
“My sister went with my grandfather to Jiangcheng for a trip. They’re planning to visit other places in a few days. Why didn’t you go with them? I know my grandfather is quite sick, and you and your grandfather are helping him with treatnt. Such a good opportunity to improve relations between the two families, and you didn’t treasure it?” Yang Qingye looked puzzled.
