After saying this, Ling Ruonan earnestly reminded Luo Xusheng: “Whether you can establish yourself in Yanjing and do well there largely depends on whether our status as mother and son rises or falls. If nothing happens to us, you’ll be fine too. Of course, we hope that with your increased influence, our troubles will lessen a bit. If possible, let Yang Xiaodong and Wang Zhenjun stay with him going forward!”
Ling Ruonan’s words dealt quite a blow to Luo Xusheng, but he finally didn’t have the nerve to rebut her face-to-face.

Luo Ziling’s words made both Ling Ruonan and Luo Xusheng’s faces change.

He successfully executed such things, what more are you worried about him for?” Ling Ruonan said, standing up and walking to the window, then added to Luo Xusheng: “Even I admire him, and several senior figures regard him as soone significant, what are you worried about?”
