“Who would be interested in a scumbag like you?” Wu Longjiang from the top bunk interjected unceremoniously, “Boss is surrounded by beauties, he could have a parade of brides every day. If he beca interested in a chubby hemorrhoid-ridden guy like you, the universe would be unjust!”
Cao Jianhui was imdiately ashad and angry, and after rolling off the bed, he tried to drag Wu Longjiang down from the top bunk: “You dare say that again? Calling a scumbag, look at who’s the worst in our dorm. At least I have a girlfriend, you all know Lin Lin, and any day I could sleep with her. Look at you guys, you don’t even have a girl to hold hands with. You’re ruining Boss’s reputation!”
Wu Longjiang’s chest imdiately ached, and he jumped down from the top bunk to engage in battle with Cao Jianhui.
Seeing both of them staring each other down in just their underwear, Luo Ziling couldn’t help but rush forward and yank down their shorts.
Cao Jianhui and Wu Longjiang let out a scream and quickly covered their private parts, pulling their shorts back up.
“Boss, I now believe you might have done sothing to us last night,” Wu Longjiang cried out in frustration: “Molesting us! This is outrageous, I’m going to report this!”
“Yeah,” Cao Jianhui looked aggrieved, “should we write this story on our social dia or Weibo?”
“Yes, definitely yes!” Wu Longjiang cried out in solidarity: “We need to expose Boss’s despicable character, lest more handso guys fall victim!”
“Or, how about Boss treats us to a big al?” Li Fuming, who had been enjoying the show, chuckled and suggested diplomatically: “Anyway, what shouldn’t have been exposed is already exposed, what could be saved couldn’t be saved. Just let Boss make it up to you, how about half a month of dinner and late-night snacks?”
“Let’s go for a morning run with first, and then I’ll treat you guys to breakfast,” Luo Ziling said nonchalantly, beckoning the three guys with his finger, “There was just a guy who was right, I am indeed surrounded by beauties. Even though he said this, Luo Ziling didn’t mind at all in his heart.
The most relaxing ti was being back at school with his dorm mates, not having to think about sches and plots, not having to worry about being manipulated, and able to joke around freely.
However, the three guys had never exercised in the morning before, and they refused to go to the track with Luo Ziling for a run. They all retreated back into their beds, saying it was only six thirty and they wanted to go back to sleep.
Luo Ziling didn’t insist, and went for his morning exercise alone.
But just as he was about to leave, Cao Jianhui rolled out of bed and said he would join Luo Ziling for the morning run.
Luo Ziling had to wait for him.
Ten minutes later, Cao Jianhui finally got dressed and ready to head out.
As the two walked down the hallway, Cao Jianhui howled crazily, telling everyone to get up for exercise, resulting in a storm of angry curses from the still-sleeping students in the neighboring dorms.
But Cao Jianhui didn’t care at all, chuckling to Luo Ziling as he continued his wild yelling, “Boss, isn’t school the only place you can relax like this? You rarely co to school, spending most of your ti outside, haven’t you missed this kind of relaxation?”
“That’s a good point,” Luo Ziling didn’t deny it, “It’s really exhausting outside. I still want to be a simple student.”
“Once you’ve been outside, how do you return?” Cao Jianhui smiled aningfully at Luo Ziling, “You’re already deep in the struggle of the fa and fortune, there’s no going back!”
“Isn’t it sad?”
“It’s both sad and lucky.” Cao Jianhui suddenly turned philosophical, proudly telling Luo Ziling: “We will ultimately step into society, we can’t hide in the ivory tower forever pretending to ignore the world. You’re just getting a head start in societal exposure.”
Luo Ziling smiled but didn’t reply.

“Is it about your parents?” Luo Ziling gave Cao Jianhui a knowing look, “Are they coming to Yanjing?”
“They asked when it would be convenient to et with you and your mom!” With Luo Ziling bringing it up, Cao Jianhui felt less awkward.
“I’ll be heading to Hengdian in a few days, and then there’ll be sumr break. How about they co over in the next couple of days? I’ll try to get an opportunity for your dad, but let remind you, don’t tarnish the gesture with cheap gifts of thanks. We’re dorm mates, brothers don’t need gratitude. I’m willing to help because I want to help, it has nothing to do with whether you thank or not. I just hope to get your dad an opportunity to use his talents and benefit the people!”
Cao Jianhui, being a smart guy, imdiately understood what Luo Ziling ant, and he didn’t hesitate to respond, “My parents are definitely people who appreciate kindness and return favors. He also has great admiration for your mother, calling her a remarkable woman, whose future is limitless.
