After sharing a simple lunch and watching several different city promotional docuntaries, Wu Jiandong officially awarded Luo Ziling the title of Model Citizen of Yuezhou. He also granted Luo Ziling a series of privileges: free entry to all scenic spots in Yuezhou and the lowest discounts at all star-rated hotels.
Luo Ziling accepted gladly, without hesitation.
During the eting, Luo Ziling also made his suggestions on urban developnt in Yuezhou, which was accepted by both Wu Jiandong and Xu Chen.
After the talks ended, Wu Jiandong left first, citing a need to attend an important eting.
Before leaving, he asked Xu Chen to continue hosting Luo Ziling.
"Mr. Wu, you go ahead and take care of your business. It's the mayor's responsibility originally!" Xu Chen jokingly remarked as Wu Jiandong left, "I have no plans for the afternoon, so I'll listen to Mr. Luo's thoughts on our Yuezhou and any feedback you might have for our work. I'll report back to Mr. Wu later."
"Take your ti chatting!" After preparing so fruit and gifts for Luo Ziling, Wu Jiandong apologized and departed.
"Mr. Luo, I'm new to Yuezhou, and not very familiar with the place. Yuezhou developed quickly when Mayor Ding was in office, and you two are good friends. The two went into a small eting room for discussions, accompanied by Xu Chen's secretary and two other accompanying officials.
They started by discussing matters related to Yuezhou's urban developnt, and these issues were docunted by the secretary.
After about half an hour, Xu Chen asked the secretary and the two accompanying officials to leave, saying she had so personal matters to discuss with Luo Ziling.
Luo Ziling wasn't surprised by Xu Chen's actions.
However, he didn't proactively ask Xu Chen anything, waiting for her to speak first.
"Mr. Luo, Mayor Ding recomnded to the organization upon his departure from Yuezhou, giving the opportunity to work here. I was originally in a position in a county under Yuezhou, and it hadn't been long since my appointnt there before the opportunity to work in Yuezhou arose." After briefly explaining her situation, Xu Chen continued, "Mayor Ding, or now Minister Ding, was quite good friends with Mr. Luo, right?"
Luo Ziling didn't answer directly, "He's got talent and charisma; while he was in office, Yuezhou's developnt was impressive. I guess he'll rise quickly."
Xu Chen leaned slightly toward Luo Ziling, lowering her voice, "Did Mr. Luo lend significant assistance in that regard?"
"What can a student like possibly help with?"
"Mr. Luo is too modest!" Xu Chen bead, "I can tell that any woman who ets you would be attracted to you. You're not just handso but also graceful, and you have remarkable charisma. I've never encountered a young man quite like you."
"Such words make shy!" Luo Ziling laughed heartily.
Despite this, he still didn't ask Xu Chen about the purpose of their private conversation.
Xu Chen indeed hadn't t a young man like Luo Ziling who could keep his composure.
She had researched Luo Ziling extensively, understanding that this young man, who could directly reach "The Heavens," was only twenty-one years old and a freshman.

She intended to use their hotown connection to further her rapport with Luo Ziling.

As she spoke, she stood up and opened her arms towards Luo Ziling.
Luo Ziling knew he had taken the joke too far but cooperated by standing up and giving Xu Chen a hug.

Taking Luo Ziling's words as intended, Xu Chen responded smoothly, "I hope Mr. Luo can offer his help; I'd be eternally grateful!"
"You think I can help?" Luo Ziling narrowed his eyes.
Xu Chen nodded, "Certainly!"
"Then, if I assist you, what will you offer in return?" Luo Ziling said, gazing at Xu Chen with squinted eyes.
