Chapter 241: No More lancholy
After Ling Ruonan left, Yang Qingyin didn’t leave right away; instead, she sat there alone.
She was feeling very depressed.
She didn’t know how much ti had passed when suddenly the WeChat notification tone from her phone rang out.
She hurriedly took out her phone from her small bag and saw that it was a ssage from Luo Ziling.
“Senior, have you woken up yet?” followed by several smiley face emojis.
Yang Qingyin stared at the ssage for a while and didn’t reply.
Imdiately following, the second ssage from Luo Ziling ca: “Senior, it’s five o’clock. Ti to get up for dinner, otherwise your stomach will be flat with hunger.”
Still, Yang Qingyin didn’t reply, but instead stood up, motioned to Xiaoli who was waiting nearby, and headed back to her room first.
Returning to the hotel, she took the elevator upstairs, walked to the door of her room, and just as Xiaoli opened the door for her, Yang Qingyin went and gently knocked on Luo Ziling’s door. The door quickly opened, and Luo Ziling’s head peeked out.
“Hehe, so Senior has indeed woken up,” seeing Yang Qingyin looking a bit down, Luo Ziling quickly invited her into his room. “Haven’t you slept enough? You look like that’s the case.”
The radiant smile of Luo Ziling chased away much of the gloom in Yang Qingyin’s heart. She smiled back and asked, “What do you plan to eat for dinner?”
“Didn’t you want to eat roast lamb? Then I’ll go with you.”
“You said your roast lamb is very tasty.” Yang Qingyin tilted her head. “I want to eat the lamb you roast yourself.”
“No problem,” Luo Ziling agreed without any hesitation. “Then let’s find a place where we can get a whole lamb and roast it ourselves.”
After saying this, Luo Ziling moved close to Yang Qingyin, staring into her eyes without blinking. “What’s wrong? You seem a bit down. Didn’t sleep enough? Or tired? Or soone bullied you?”
Yang Qingyin shook her head with a smile: “Why would I be down? Just got up from sleeping, so of course, I’m a bit groggy. Aren’t you the sa?”
“Alright,” Luo Ziling suddenly stretched out his hand and vigorously rubbed Yang Qingyin’s face twice, then laughed and said, “If I rub the muscles on your face out, you’ll start laughing.”
After Luo Ziling rubbed her face a few tis, Yang Qingyin’s face turned red. She pinched him back and rebuked with a bit of annoyance: “Is my face dough? You’re kneading it so hard.”
“Then I’ll be gentler. I promise not to ruin your face,” Luo Ziling said, reaching out his hand toward Yang Qingyin’s face again. “Hehe, your skin is so tender, feels so good.”
With a “smack”, Yang Qingyin forcefully pushed away Luo Ziling’s hand and stepped back two paces, glancing at him sideways with a flushed face, “Always bullying people, I don’t want to talk to you anymore.” Saying so, she deliberately turned her face away.
“No way, you got angry just like that?” Luo Ziling’s head popped out from beside Yang Qingyin’s face. “Then why don’t you rub it back yourself, rub it however you like.”
While speaking, he pointed at his own similarly tender cheek.
Seeing Luo Ziling’s adorable deanor, Yang Qingyin finally couldn’t hold back and burst into laughter.
Her laughing face blossod like a flower, completely dispelling the gloominess, and Luo Ziling was montarily dazzled.
Yang Qingyin, whose face reddened under Luo Ziling’s gaze, couldn’t help but glare at him, saying irritably, “What are you looking at? What’s there to see?”

Thus, Yang Qingyin was teased into laughter again by Luo Ziling, “You’re so annoying, always teasing people.”
All the gloominess vanished with the previous laughter, and seeing Luo Ziling’s youthful and vibrant face made Yang Qingyin’s mood brighten up gradually. She tried not to think about what had just happened, pretending Ling Ruonan had never appeared.
She wouldn’t tell Luo Ziling that Ling Ruonan had co to see her, and she never would.
After ssing around for a while, they left the hotel, ready to go for dinner.
Luo Ziling suggested they take Xiaoli with them, and eventually, Yang Qingyin agreed.
Ye Xiaoli didn’t say much, just silently followed them.
Because Ye Xiaoli was close by, Luo Ziling and Yang Qingyin, who were walking ahead, felt embarrassed to hold hands, and they didn’t chat and laugh recklessly.
They found a DIY barbecue restaurant on a nearby grassland, and Luo Ziling ordered a small lamb along with so other items.
Once everything was ready, he pulled Yang Qingyin to the grill to get busy.
“Watch Chef Luo prepare dinner for the two beauties,” Luo Ziling grinned at Yang Qingyin, then got started right away.
Yang Qingyin sat aside, watching Luo Ziling prepare the lamb with a smile and even took out her phone to snap pictures.
Ye Xiaoli sat by, watching expressionlessly, silent throughout the process as Luo Ziling prepared the lamb.
Luo Ziling’s thod of grilling lamb was different from ordinary shops, but soone like Yang Qingyin, who had never studied grilling lamb, couldn’t tell what was special about it. Slling the tempting aroma of the at slowly roasting, she couldn’t help but salivate.
After waiting for about half an hour, when Yang Qingyin finally got the sizzling grilled at handed to her by Luo Ziling, she didn’t care about her image and started eating a nicely browned piece voraciously.
Luo Ziling then handed a piece to Ye Xiaoli, who didn’t refuse and took it to eat on her own.
“Junior, it seems you weren’t bragging; your grilled at is really good.” Yang Qingyin praised Luo Ziling as she ate, “It’s even better than last night’s.”
“My cooking skills are definitely better than the average chef’s,” Luo Ziling couldn’t resist bragging, then added proudly, “Wait for a chance, and I’ll cook for you.”
“Hehe, you promised on your own, I didn’t force you,” Yang Qingyin imdiately extended her pinky to Luo Ziling, “You have to keep your promises.”
“No problem,” Luo Ziling extended his pinky and hooked it with Yang Qingyin’s, then asked curiously, “Do you know how to cook?”
“I don’t,” Yang Qingyin shook her head a bit embarrassedly, “I really can’t do anything, can’t cook or make als, am I very silly?”
“It’s okay, as long as I can,” Luo Ziling said mysteriously, “I’ll cook for you in the future, and I guarantee I’ll fatten you up.”
“I don’t want to get fat,” Yang Qingyin casually replied, then realizing there was a special aning in Luo Ziling’s words just now, her face turned red, “You’re not anyone to , I can’t eat your cooking.”
“Then what would you need to be to , to be able to eat my cooking?” Luo Ziling pretended to be dumb, “Maybe, give a hint?”
“I’m not talking to you anymore,” Yang Qingyin, with her face blushing, ran off and gave Luo Ziling a sideways glance as she did.
