When Ling Mingrui returned, Ling Zhengping and Ling Ruonan were sitting in the living room with darkened faces, and no other person was seen.
Seeing the siblings like this, Ling Mingrui had a bad feeling.

"What's going on?" Xie Enhua walked in and stood beside Ling Mingrui, glanced at the old man, then at the furious Ling Ruonan, and finally at the grim-faced Ling Zhengping, her face didn't look good either.
Ling Mingrui heavily sighed, and plopped down on the sofa.
"Nannan, what happened?" Seeing Ling Ruonan's expression was very bad, Xie Enhua approached her and gently asked, "Why did you argue with your brother again?"
Ling Ruonan didn't hide anything and recounted the incident again. Previously, he was driven by jealousy, and coupled with Haining often being bullied by Ziling, and suspecting and Xusheng had an inappropriate relationship, he harbored hatred towards Ziling and wanted to harm him. Seeing the people inside all looking solemn, he felt even more anxious.
"Your father left, go see what he's doing." Ling Mingrui instructed a nervous-looking Ling Haining, "If anything happens, report back to your mother!"
"Okay!" Ling Haining quickly ran out of the living room.
