Chapter 284: You’re Not Riding a White Horse
Seeing Yang Qingyin’s shocked expression, Luo Ziling asked in surprise, “Senior, haven’t you read ‘Traces of the Wanderer’ written by the great martial arts novelist, Liang Yusheng?”
“Of course, I have, it’s a very well-written novel,” Yang Qingyin was quite moved by Luo Ziling’s ntion of this novel and its characters, so she behaved a bit unsteadily.
She had certainly read the novel and it was her favorite martial arts novel.
Among all the martial arts novels written by Liang Yusheng, Yang Qingyin loved ‘Traces of the Wanderer’ the most. The sincere and loving relationship between Zhang Danfeng and Yun Lei, Zhang Danfeng’s persistent love for Yun Lei, and their helpless situation due to the life-and-death feud between their families had touched her deeply. When she had read it for the first ti, she had nearly been brought to tears.
During one of the argunts when Zhang Danfeng left in a huff, he said this; “Better to have not seen you than to see you and feign indifference, when there is love that seems like no love.”
Thinking of this line and then of her own familial feud with Luo Ziling, Yang Qingyin suddenly felt the urge to cry.
Why is it so similar?
Watching Yang Qingyin’s moved expression, Luo Ziling couldn’t help but laugh.
“Zhang Danfeng fell for Yun Lei, his ‘little brother,’ pretty quickly, but eventually they discovered they were mortal enemies and couldn’t possibly be together.” Luo Ziling watched Yang Qingyin, his face wearing a faint smile, “Their enmity was a real matter of the state, Zhang Danfeng’s father had detained Yun Lei’s grandfather in the Pastoral Desert for twenty years. When Luo Ziling expressed his sentints, his mind truly conjured up the content described in the novel.
Zhang Danfeng’s sincere and heartfelt calls to his “little brother” had at least more flavor than him calling Yang Qingyin “Senior.”

Yang Qingyin’s heart was stirred continuously by Luo Ziling’s analogy and his waves of reflection.
The characters of Zhang Danfeng and Yun Lei, vividly portrayed in the novel, also alternated within her heart.
