Chapter 295: Feeling Better
Ouyang Feifei really drove Luo Ziling back herself.
She drove a rather low-key rcedes SUV out of the parking lot.
Luo Ziling, feeling quite embarrassed, took his seat in the passenger side.
Refusing any further would have been tasteless, since Ouyang Feifei wanted to drive him back herself, so he decided to accept her kindness.
After sitting in the passenger seat, Luo Ziling caught the intoxicating scent again, which seed to be emanating from Ouyang Feifei’s body.
The fragrance was very pleasant, and Luo Ziling secretly took a few deep breaths.
When they left the villa in the car, Luo Ziling also noticed that there were cars ahead and behind them, aning that, although Ouyang Feifei was driving him personally, there were still bodyguards escorting them.
“Ah, I promised to treat you again today but forgot,” after driving out of Xiangshan Park, Luo Ziling suddenly rembered sothing and couldn’t help exclaiming.
“Forget it,” Ouyang Feifei didn’t seem to care, “Today you treated Huihui, and you checked my grandfather’s health, I won’t join in the fun with them. If you’re free tomorrow or the day after, I will co to you for treatnt.”
“It’s been several days since I’ve treated you,” Luo Ziling felt quite embarrassed, thinking this arrangent was not very reasonable, “How about I co over tomorrow to treat you?”
“Okay, I’ll co pick you up then,” Ouyang Feifei had no objections.
Luo Ziling also agreed.
Ouyang Feifei focused on driving, and Luo Ziling suddenly didn’t know what to say, so the two of them sank into silence.
“Are you going back to school?” This ti, the silence was broken by Ouyang Feifei, who quietly asked Luo Ziling while waiting for a traffic light.
“Mhm,” Luo Ziling nodded, “Back to school, to sleep early. Tomorrow I have to treat Senior Li Haiyang.”
“I actually miss the ti when I was in school,” Ouyang Feifei said softly.
“Did you go to university too?” Luo Ziling asked curiously.
“Why couldn’t I go to university? Even soone like you, who didn’t take the college entrance exam, was able to go to university; why couldn’t I?” Ouyang Feifei said this with a hint of pride on her face.
“That’s not what I ant,” Luo Ziling quickly shook his head, “You’re only two years older than , and you’ve been in charge of the family affairs for several years. I thought you didn’t have ti for school.”
“I graduated from university when I was nineteen. I went to university at fifteen,” Ouyang Feifei said, her lips curling slightly.
“No way?” Luo Ziling was surprised, “How could you go to university at fifteen?”
Thinking that he only started university at twenty, Luo Ziling felt a bit downcast.
“Excellent grades, so I started primary school at six, finished middle school in two years, high school in two years.”
“Uh,” seeing how nonchalantly Ouyang Feifei said this, Luo Ziling was even more astonished, “It seems you really are an academic star, a genius.”
“What’s the use of being an academic star, a genius?” Ouyang Feifei said, giving Luo Ziling a peculiar look.
Although Ouyang Feifei didn’t say anything more, Luo Ziling tasted the implication from her strange look, and couldn’t help feeling a bit embarrassed, suddenly not knowing what to say.
Ouyang Feifei didn’t continue speaking either, but silently drove on.
For the rest of the journey, neither of them spoke much.
They quickly arrived at the entrance of Yan University. Luo Ziling said awkwardly, “Thank you for bringing back. Please be careful on your way ho.”
Luo Ziling knew that Ouyang Feifei usually traveled with quite a bit of pomp, accompanied by many bodyguards, obviously to ensure her own safety.
In the past, she had a driver and bodyguards with her, so naturally, Luo Ziling was worried about her having an accident on her own today.
“It’s fine. Soone will drive back in a while,” Ouyang Feifei said lightly, then imdiately added, “Graduating from college too early, I missed out on a lot of the college experience. It’s been a long ti since I’ve been on a university campus. It’s still early; could you show around?”
Faced with a request like that from Ouyang Feifei, Luo Ziling couldn’t refuse and had to agree.
“I’d be delighted,” he said with a bright smile, and asked, “Which university did you attend?”
“Cambridge in Britain.” As she said this, Ouyang Feifei, who had stopped the car, also got out.
“You’re really impressive,” Luo Ziling thought to himself, astonished to learn that Ouyang Feifei had studied at the prestigious Cambridge University, and this made him admire the beautiful woman even more.
Ouyang Feifei just smiled and didn’t say much.
After getting out of the car, Ouyang Feifei had put on a pair of large, black-frad glasses. Under the street lights, her face was nearly impossible to recognize.
If Luo Ziling didn’t know her well, even a face-to-face encounter wouldn’t allow him to make out her features.
Luo Ziling also put on a pair of glasses and, seeing that Ouyang Feifei was dressed the sa way, couldn’t help feeling a bit amused inside—glasses are a really good weapon!
When they walked side by side into the campus, they didn’t attract much attention. Ouyang Feifei was tall with long legs, and there were so male students who glanced over, but she quickly vanished into the darkness before their gazes could follow her, so not many took notice of her.
The National Day holiday wasn’t over, and many students had gone ho or traveled. The campus was much quieter than usual, not to ntion at over eight in the evening. Those romantic paths that were usually crowded were now quite empty.
“Take for a walk. I heard Lake Wuming at Yan University is quite nice,” Ouyang Feifei suggested softly.
Luo Ziling couldn’t bring himself to refuse and could only agree.
The two continued to walk side by side, and as the path narrowed, the distance between them shrank from when they had first entered. As they walked, their arms would occasionally brush against each other. Ouyang Feifei slled wonderful, and the gentle breeze occasionally carried her scent to Luo Ziling’s nose. Being so close to her brought a comfort that couldn’t be put into words.
“Don’t mind the drunken words my grandfather said,” Ouyang Feifei initiated after a brief silence.
“No,” Luo Ziling shook his head, “you’re exceptional, and your grandfather recognizes that.”
“Sigh, people only see the polished side of , but no one knows the struggles behind it.” Ouyang Feifei turned to Luo Ziling and smiled, “For a woman with little social experience, battling with those old foxes, and trying to gain an advantage in front of them, is really hard.”
“So that’s why you usually act that way?”
“What?”
“The way you’re usually so cold and distant, making it seem like you’re saying, ‘I’m cold, ordinary people stay away from .’ Is that it?”
“I don’t know,” Ouyang Feifei sighed softly. “Let’s drop it, let’s just walk around!”
“Alright,” Luo Ziling didn’t refuse and obediently continued to stroll with Ouyang Feifei around the campus.
His perspective on Ouyang Feifei seed to have improved a lot from before.
