Chapter 327: Soone Is Furious

Seeing the astonished look on Luo Ziling’s face, Ling Ruonan imdiately said, “But Mother doesn’t have any evidence, though I’m certain that the Yang Family wasn’t behind yesterday’s incident. “What? Yang Shubao is dead?” Upon hearing the report from a confidant, Yang Yunlin, who was busy with official duties in his office, was shocked and imdiately stood up.
“Yes, Yang Shubao had a car accident this afternoon. His vehicle collided with a concrete mixer truck, and he died instantly,” said the confidant who had rashly co to inform Yang Yunlin of the situation. Seeing the horror on Yang Yunlin’s face, he was also startled, but continued to report with a steady voice, “The driver of the offending vehicle abandoned the truck and fled. The police are in pursuit.”

“Yes,” the confidant replied and imdiately left.
After his confidant left, Yang Yunlin slumped into his chair.
“Ha, Ling Ruonan, you’ve actually struck back,” Yang Yunlin tried to calm down as he twirled a pen in his hand, a cold sneer on his face as he muttered to himself, “Don’t think I don’t know that it was you who planned Yang Shubao’s death just because you made it look covert. You’re ruthless, woman. Even though they didn’t harm your son, you’ve started killing people. I want to see how you’ll defend yourself if evidence is found.”
After giving it serious thought, Yang Yunlin picked up the phone on the desk and personally called the deputy director in charge of major cases at the city bureau, demanding that the deputy director take personal charge of the investigation into Yang Shubao’s case.
“Wang, this is definitely not an ordinary traffic hit-and-run case, but a criminal case. Soone has deliberately planned a traffic accident with the intention of killing Yang Shubao,” Yang Yunlin directly stated his conjecture over the phone, then added a request, “I hope you can clear up the case as soon as possible and render justice to the deceased.”
“Yes, Mayor Yang, we will definitely solve this case as quickly as possible and apprehend the murderer,” assured Wang Chaohui, the deputy director in charge of major cases, who was promoted by Yang Yunlin himself, promptly over the phone.
After making the promise, he asked softly, “Mayor Yang, who do you think is the most likely to have killed your cousin?”
“I don’t know that, but I am clear that the woman from the Ling Family in the Northern Group had conflicts with Yang Shubao.” After saying this, Yang Yunlin hung up the phone.
After the call, Yang Yunlin still felt very frustrated. He decided to go see his father, Yang Yuanshan, that evening to discuss the matter. It was not to seek Yang Yuanshan’s help; for such a not-so-major incident, Yang Yunlin would not need his father’s assistance.

Yet, Ling Ruonan had completely anticipated Yang Yunlin’s reaction.
After letting Luo Ziling rest a bit before eating, Ling Ruonan also went to the kitchen.
In the kitchen, Wuyue, who was wearing an apron, was cooking, and Ling Ruonan imdiately went to help.
“Did the plan succeed?” she asked softly.
“Mhm,” Wuyue nodded, but didn’t say much, just smiling at Ling Ruonan with a confident expression.
Ling Ruonan didn’t ask further, responding with a smile, “I’m sure Yang Yunlin is furious right now, but what can he do to ?”
Wuyue still said nothing; she knew that such words couldn’t be responded to and that she must quickly forget that Ling Ruonan ever spoke them.
She turned the subject to Luo Ziling’s injuries: “Miss, the young master’s injuries are actually quite severe, only they were well tended to, and the dicine he prepared himself is very effective, so he looks much better after a day. He has two wounds on his body, both from stabbings. The assailant was after his life.”
Wuyue was standing by when Ling Ruonan had examined Luo Ziling’s wounds earlier, and being experienced in these matters, she had quickly assessed the situation.
“I will not permit anyone to bully us, mother and son,” Ling Ruonan said with a fierce determination.
The murderous aura that showed on Ling Ruonan’s face even made Wuyue shiver.
