Chapter 338: Worth Having for a Lifeti

Yang Qingyin’s slightly bewildered attention made Luo Ziling stunned. The way she looked was too srizing.
He even couldn’t help but want to kiss her.
But in the end, Luo Ziling just smiled and replied, “Maybe she thinks you’re excellent, and she likes you too, so she let us play together.”
This place, well-lit by streetlights with quite a few passersby, really wasn’t a good spot for a surprise kiss.
“If only my parents could be like that,” sighed Yang Qingyin, although feeling happy inside.
“Who knows? They might change in the future!” Luo Ziling said aningfully, “It’s up to people’s actions, you know. Look at Zhang Danfeng and Yun Lei, even such deep-seated familial enmities have been resolved.”
“That’s just in novels,” Yang Qingyin, taking Luo Ziling’s hand, said, “In reality, there aren’t that many intriguing stories.”
“Not necessarily!” laughed Luo Ziling, “Didn’t our eting involve many intriguing incidents? With one leap, I bumped into a great beauty. Tell , are there really such coincidental things in this world? Moreover, we both look so good looking…”

“I’m not bragging,” Luo Ziling pointed at his cheek, and said earnestly, “Take a good look, I do look pretty good. Look at these eyes, this nose, I resemble my mom so much. Since she’s so beautiful, of course, I’m good-looking too. You should take a few more glances when you have ti, it’s quite pleasing to the eye.”
Yang Qingyin was amused by Luo Ziling and actually took his advice seriously, looking at him intently for a mont before finally dismissing him, “Horribly ugly, a ghastly ss.”
She knew Luo Ziling was trying to cheer her up because she was feeling sowhat down.
With Luo Ziling’s teasing, her gloomy emotions had dissipated, replaced by a heart filled with relaxation and joy.
She had never imagined that being with a guy could always be so light-hearted and happy.
Thus, she naturally joined in Luo Ziling’s banter with her playful retorts.
“Huh, what’s this ‘ghastly ss’?” Luo Ziling looked aggrieved, “Is it really uglier than a ‘hideous freak’?”
“You’ve said it before, you know what a ‘ghastly ss’ is like,” chuckled Yang Qingyin.
“Have I? I forgot!”
“Pretending to forget, huh?”
“Alright, ‘ghastly ss’ is code for the most beautiful person, got it?”
“Always trying to flatter yourself.”
As they sweet-talked, they entered a dimly lit alleyway.
Checking that no one was following in front or behind, Luo Ziling slowed his pace.
“Senior,” Luo Ziling called out.
“What?” Yang Qingyin, hand in hand with Luo Ziling, looked up at him with a touch of bewildernt.
But amidst her bewildernt, Luo Ziling ambushed her with a kiss. Before she could react, he had already stolen the kiss.
“Annoying junior, always bullying !” Yang Qingyin was both embarrassed and annoyed at Luo Ziling kissing her in the street.
They were outdoors, after all, and even though the alley was dimly lit and deserted, what if soone was peeping from a nearby window?
“Then just bully back,” said Luo Ziling shalessly, even purposely puckering his lips.
“You’re really botherso, I don’t want to bully you back!” Yang Qingyin gave Luo Ziling a Soul-Chasing Life-Stealing Pinch, causing him to cry out in pain.
“Just because I say I won’t bully you, doesn’t an my hands can’t be naughty; just wait and see how I’ll get back at you,” Luo Ziling said, and without any hesitation, he pinned Yang Qingyin against the wall in the alley, and gave her a fierce kiss without courtesy.
Yang Qingyin struggled a bit, then resigned to her fate, but after a while of entwining with Luo Ziling, she pushed him away with a shove.
With her face blushing, Yang Qingyin pushed Luo Ziling away and grabbed his hand, urging, “Let’s go, you dare to bully in broad daylight.”
“It’s already the dead of night, not broad daylight. Where do you see the sun? That’s the moon,” Luo Ziling seriously said with a straight face, “Doesn’t senior sister recognize the difference between the sun and the moon?”
At that mont, a man riding a bicycle ca over, the uncle on the bike looked curiously at the two playing and bickering.
Yang Qingyin, feeling embarrassed by the attention, grabbed Luo Ziling and ran.
“Don’t run, he won’t chase us,” seeing Yang Qingyin running breathlessly, Luo Ziling quickly grabbed her hand.
The recently-kissed Yang Qingyin, after walking briskly for a few steps, was breathing so fast that her mind was sowhat blank.
Seeing Yang Qingyin like this, Luo Ziling scooped her up and carried her on his back.
“Sigh, I ate too much today, I should lose so weight,” said Luo Ziling shaking his head after heaving Yang Qingyin onto his back, “After all, a certain senior weighs a pitiful hundred pounds, carrying her a few miles won’t make feel tired.”
The originally struggling Yang Qingyin, upon hearing Luo Ziling say that, imdiately beca indignant, reaching out and twisting Luo Ziling’s ears, “You’re mocking again, you’re always teasing , I hate you. I’m not just a hundred pounds, I just gained several pounds from eating. Hmph, are you saying I’m thin, you think this is the Tang Dynasty where everyone likes to be fat?”
“Senior, please spare , let go, my ears are about to co off,” Luo Ziling said as he slapped Yang Qingyin’s bottom, threatening, “If you don’t let go, I’m going to hit you.”
Being smacked on the bottom again, Yang Qingyin imdiately beca annoyed, grabbing Luo Ziling’s ears even harder, “If you keep bullying , I’ll pull your ears out like the second senior brother’s and turn you into a true freak.”
“Heroine, please have rcy, I won’t do it again,” Luo Ziling raised his hands in a gesture of surrender, “Stop pulling, or they’ll co off.”
Yang Qingyin imdiately let go, wrapped her arms around Luo Ziling’s neck, and started laughing gleefully.
While laughing, she took the opportunity to lean in and kissed Luo Ziling.
Amidst all the playful fuss, there was an indescribable warmth, and Yang Qingyin even forgot that Luo Ziling’s shoulder was still injured.
Once she thought of this, she quickly struggled to slide down, and scolded, “Junior, you still have an injury, did it hurt you?”
“Not at all, how could a paper-light person like you cause any pain?” Luo Ziling didn’t miss the chance to tease Yang Qingyin again.
Surprisingly, Yang Qingyin didn’t get angry, instead, she took Luo Ziling’s arm.
After walking a few steps, Yang Qingyin said in a low voice, “Junior, why am I always so happy when I’m with you?”
Luo Ziling was surprised and looked at Yang Qingyin, “Isn’t that a good thing? Or do you prefer to be unhappy?”
“You’re like poison, you know!” Yang Qingyin hugged Luo Ziling even tighter.
Seeing Yang Qingyin like this, Luo Ziling teased again, “A big warm man, a happy nut, worth having for a lifeti.”
“You said it yourself, for a lifeti, and don’t you dare break your promise!” As she spoke, Yang Qingyin’s eyes were sparkling, and her tone resolute.
Luo Ziling looked at Yang Qingyin seriously for a mont, and finally nodded.
“You’re not allowed to be this nice to other girls, or I’ll get angry.”
“Alright then!”
“Pinky promise!”
Luo Ziling had no choice but to extend his little finger, and gently hooked it with Yang Qingyin’s.
