Chapter 382 You’re Shaless
“Senior, your brother is really quite interesting!” On their way back to school, Luo Ziling said to Yang Qingyin, who was walking hand in hand with him, “Sotis he’s quite cute.”
“Cute what?” Yang Qingyin glared at Luo Ziling, “Just because he called you ‘brother-in-law’?”
Luo Ziling chuckled but didn’t answer Yang Qingyin’s rhetorical question.
“He’s afraid I’ll scold him and that I’ll tell grandpa and dad about these things, so he’s just spouting nonsense. Who knows what he’s really thinking.” Yang Qingyin disdainfully curled her lips, “Don’t be deceived by his seemingly innocent appearance; he’s quite cunning!”
“Alright, you definitely know more than I do,” Luo Ziling didn’t argue with Yang Qingyin, but he imdiately chuckled again, “He actually called ‘brother-in-law’.”
As a result of his remark, he received a pinch from Yang Qingyin, “Don’t ntion that title again.”
“Fine, I wasn’t going to call myself ‘brother-in-law’ anyway,” Luo Ziling nodded earnestly in agreent.
However, his behavior earned him another dose of Yang Qingyin’s Soul-Chasing Life-Stealing Pinch, making him cry out in pain involuntarily.
After fooling around for a bit, they stopped bringing up anything related to Yang Qingye.
“Junior, have you decided on your act for the welco party yet?” Yang Qingyin asked Luo Ziling, “Are you really going to perform a martial arts routine?”
“What else can I do?” Luo Ziling said with a wry smile, “Our dorm mate, Cao Jianhui, is loyally fulfilling his duty as class monitor, insisting that the act we submit must be exciting and has to avoid being cut. He’s set on having perform, and I have no choice but to fulfill his wish. I’ll just make a few moves and backflips on stage, and that’ll be it.”
“You might end up getting thunderous applause,” Yang Qingyin giggled, “By then, lots of girls might rush to present flowers to you, the dashing hero. You might even faint on stage from joy.”
“You’re actually making fun of ,” Luo Ziling reached out to tickle Yang Qingyin, “That’s for laughing at .”
Yang Qingyin couldn’t take it and burst into laughter, collapsing into a ball and quickly begging for rcy. Luo Ziling stopped but took the opportunity to pick her up and bolted forward.
Yang Qingyin, scared, quickly wrapped her arms around Luo Ziling’s neck.
Before parting, Yang Qingyin gave a special instruction, “Ziling, if you’re willing, you can go see Qingye. You could also take the chance to educate him a bit, so he doesn’t go astray.”
Yang Qingyin had asked him to visit her brother and had addressed him by his na directly. Luo Ziling felt quite flattered and readily agreed.
Due to this subtle change in Yang Qingyin, Luo Ziling felt very excited. That night, he even had a colorful dream, featuring, of course, Yang Qingyin.
The next day, during English class, Chen Wanqing reminded Luo Ziling very seriously to co for English tutoring tonight.
Luo Ziling had excused himself from tutoring for the past two evenings, which had upset Chen Wanqing. Therefore, she took the ti during class to remind him again.
Luo Ziling also felt a bit embarrassed. Although he was suspicious of Chen Wanqing, she was, after all, a teacher and hadn’t behaved inappropriately toward him, so he remained doubtful.
He was always grateful for Chen Wanqing’s offer to help him with English. Regarding his absence for the past two nights, he felt pretty bad.
In the afternoon, Luo Ziling received a ssage from Ouyang Huihui asking him if he was going to Chen Wanqing’s place for English tutoring tonight.
After thinking it over, Luo Ziling told Ouyang Huihui that he was planning to go for the tutoring.
“Then I’ll go too, to continue being your Guarding Angel.” Ouyang Huihui’s ssage was followed by several smug emoticons.
Luo Ziling thought about it and didn’t refuse.
Ouyang Huihui sent another ssage saying that she wouldn’t go to Chen Wanqing’s place with Luo Ziling but that she would go ahead to get a better grasp of the situation herself. Luo Ziling had no choice but to let her be.
After class in the afternoon, after receiving a ssage from Chen Wanqing, Luo Ziling headed over.
He arrived quite early and didn’t inform Ouyang Huihui, so when he got to Chen Wanqing’s place, he didn’t see her there.
Seeing that Ouyang Huihui hadn’t co with Luo Ziling, Chen Wanqing breathed a sigh of relief.
“Today, I felt a bit tired, so I didn’t go grocery shopping. I ordered takeout, and it should arrive soon.” Chen Wanqing smiled, welcoming Luo Ziling in, and personally fetched slippers for him.
“Ziling, take a seat,” Chen Wanqing invited Luo Ziling to sit on the sofa, and she even went out of her way to get him so fruit.
Today, Chen Wanqing had made a special effort to dress up. Although there were no traces of makeup on her face, Luo Ziling could still tell that she had carefully grood herself. Everything from hair accessories to clothing indicated this.
“Dinner’s still a while away, so how about we do a lesson first,” Chen Wanqing had seen Luo Ziling’s awkwardness and couldn’t help but sneer internally. She once thought that this young man had so resistance to pretty won.
Luo Ziling couldn’t object, and Chen Wanqing stood up to get the English book.
Just then, there was a knock at the door.
“Miss Chen, soone’s knocking,” Luo Ziling said, relieved as if pardoned, and hurried over to open the door.
As soon as the door opened, he saw that it was indeed Ouyang Huihui standing outside. Luo Ziling breathed a sigh of relief.
Seeing Luo Ziling already in the room, Ouyang Huihui was suddenly surprised, and then her expression changed upon seeing the bewildered Chen Wanqing.
“Miss Chen, you’re unbelievable,” after getting a clear view of Chen Wanqing’s attire, Ouyang Huihui imdiately flew into a rage, “You’re shaless!”
