Chapter 503: Chapter 503: Can Things Not Be So Interesting
Luo Ziling treated Li Haiyang for about an hour before he finished.
By the end, he was soaked in sweat, but fortunately he had a full dinner and was more experienced, so he wasn’t completely exhausted.
In the past, when treating Li Haiyang, Lin Lan would always be by his side.
But without Lin Lan there, he could only have two nurses accompany him to help with whatever was needed.
When Luo Ziling was covered in sweat, the beautiful nurses ca over to wipe his sweat, doing so even more diligently than Lin Lan had.
However, Luo Ziling took no notice of it, as he was fully focused during the treatnt and didn’t pay attention to his surroundings.
When the treatnt ended, he plopped down on the ground, startling the two nurses who rushed over to help him up.
Feeling the fragrance of won and the softness at his arm, Luo Ziling realized that the two beautiful nurses were helping him stand, which made him a bit embarrassed. He quickly found a chair to sit on and, blushing, thanked them before indicating that they shouldn’t disturb Li Haiyang and let him sleep for a while.
Li Haiyang had fallen asleep after the treatnt and would feel much better after waking up, so Luo Ziling told the people around him not to disturb him.
The two nurses naturally agreed and even helped Luo Ziling out of Li Haiyang’s quarters diligently.
Luo Ziling was eting these two nurses for the first ti, and they seed to be staff from that place, considerably more beautiful than the nurses who had been by Li Haiyang’s side at the base.
As they were so enthusiastic in assisting him, although Luo Ziling was a bit embarrassed, he enjoyed and accepted their help.
But just as Luo Ziling was being taken care of by the two nurses, Shanque walked in.
Upon seeing Shanque co in, the two nurses imdiately stood up and obediently moved to the side to await further instructions.
Shanque sent the two nurses into the room to take care of Li Haiyang as she wanted to talk to Luo Ziling about so matters. The nurses complied obediently and went inside. But as they did, they couldn’t help but simultaneously turn back to look at Luo Ziling. Being handso and treated so well by Li Haiyang, the two nurses thought this good-looking young man must have an extraordinary identity.
They knew well that nurses like them, if noticed by soone of status, could have their fortunes change in an instant. Therefore, they were really enthusiastic with Luo Ziling, so much so that it made Shanque uncomfortable to watch.
“They even dared to flirt with you. I will complain to their leader later,” Shanque grumbled after sending the two nurses away.
“There’s no need to complain, they were quite good,” Luo Ziling quickly spoke up for the nurses, and then asked Shanque, “Did you need for sothing?”
Shanque was instantly surprised and opened her mouth wide, “Aren’t you supposed to learn more Disguise Skills from ? Have you forgotten?”
“Er, I thought there might be sothing else,” Luo Ziling admitted with an embarrassed smile.
Shanque, however, laughed it off generously and didn’t make much of it.
Just now, she had sent the two pretty nurses away because of Lin Lan.
Right outside Li Haiyang’s room, Luo Ziling followed Shanque and learned so makeup skills.
As he focused on learning, his phone rang, but he didn’t pay attention and just hung up.
The phone rang again imdiately, and Luo Ziling still hung up.
However, he glanced at the caller ID and noticed that it was Chen Xiaoyi who called.
The sound of the phone ringing caused Shanque to lose interest in teaching Luo Ziling, so she suggested he answer the call first.
By the third ring of the phone, Luo Ziling finally answered the call. Without waiting for Chen Xiaoyi’s unfriendly tone to raise any questions, Luo Ziling explained directly, “Journalist Chen, I’m really sorry, I was busy with sothing just now.”
“So you finished your business that quickly?” Chen Xiaoyi’s tone was still not very friendly.
It was the first ti soone had hung up on her, and to be hung up on twice in a row had hurt her pride.
“No, I was interrupted by your call,” Luo Ziling honestly explained the situation and stepped out of the room to talk on the phone, to avoid embarrassnt in front of Shanque. After stepping out, he continued, “I was just treating soone!”
“I see,” Chen Xiaoyi felt a bit embarrassed now, “then I really apologize, did anything go wrong?”
“It’s alright, I was just about finished anyway, but there’s a bit of other stuff to deal with.”
“Then I’ll call back later,” Chen Xiaoyi was quite worldly-wise after all.
“It’s okay, you can talk now.”
“Alright,” Chen Xiaoyi didn’t beat around the bush any longer and got straight to the point, “A friend of mine has been injured and would like you to co treat him. Would you be willing to help?”
“Oh, that’s no problem at all,” Luo Ziling readily agreed, then asked, “What kind of injury does your friend have?”
“It’s not an illness, but an injury,” Chen Xiaoyi corrected Luo Ziling’s words but didn’t imdiately discuss the matter, instead, she invited Luo Ziling out for late-night snacks, “Let’s et up for so late-night food and talk.”
“Alright,” Luo Ziling agreed. “I should be able to get back to school in about an hour.”
“We’ll get in touch then!”
After hanging up the phone, Shanque had already packed up and didn’t plan to continue teaching him disguise skills. Luo Ziling had no choice but to call it a day.
After instructing the nurses on so follow-up care, Luo Ziling had Shanque drive him back.
On the way, Shanque instructed Luo Ziling on so matters of discipline, making him promise not to reveal any information about this sanatorium to anyone nor discuss Li Haiyang’s treatnt here with anybody.
Hearing Shanque’s serious instructions, Luo Ziling promised wholeheartedly.
On the way, Luo Ziling rembered that he had agreed today to treat his dorm friends to late-night food, but with Chen Xiaoyi coming, he had to send a ssage to the three guys that he had sothing to do outside and couldn’t return for the ti being. He suggested treating them to dinner the next day instead.
With Luo Ziling offering dinner instead, the three buddies didn’t have much to say and imdiately agreed, requesting a fancy al, which Luo Ziling naturally didn’t refuse.
Before reaching the school, Luo Ziling received a call from Chen Xiaoyi, asking where he was.
Luo Ziling also explained his situation and asked where Chen Xiaoyi was. After Chen Xiaoyi told him the place for late-night snacks, she asked if Luo Ziling needed a lift, but he declined and had Shanque drive him directly there.
Without objection, Shanque drove Luo Ziling to the place called “Chen Porridge Shop.”
When Luo Ziling arrived at the private room Chen Xiaoyi had directed him to, he was surprised to see the three won he had hung out with before: Chen Xiaoyi, Chen Xiaoxiao, and Fang Qianqian all together, causing a wave of surprise.
“Ha, what a lively scene, having three beauties inviting for late-night snacks.”
“If we want to ask for your help, it should be sothing grand,” Chen Xiaoyi said with a smile as she poured Luo Ziling a cup of tea, then spoke very earnestly, “Qianqian’s brother has been injured, and we would like you to help treat him.”
“Cough… cough…” Luo Ziling started to choke.
