After locking the bathroom door, Li Qingyu hid by the window to make a phone call.

“Where have you been during working hours?” Wang Qing asked with a cold face.
“I was in the restroom,” Li Qingyu quickly regained her composure, calmly responding with no sign of panic on her face.
“You’ve been gone for at least five minutes.” Wang Qing glanced at her wristwatch.
“I’m on my period, so…” Li Qingyu answered with a blush, “Please forgive , sister Qing.”
Li Qingyu felt a bit nervous because of the unfriendly tone she sensed in Wang Qing’s words.
Wang Qing didn’t say much but went into the president’s office, which allowed Li Qingyu to breathe a sigh of relief. However, her resentnt toward Wang Qing increased a notch, and she cursed Wang Qing under her breath, also secretly vowing to make Wang Qing taste the humiliation soday.
