“Let’s get acquainted with these elders later,” Ling Ruonan said, holding Luo Ziling’s hand and offering a slight smile to the Ling Family elders. She then added, “Let Ziling check on the old master’s health first, to see the result of the treatnt just now.”
All those present knew that Luo Ziling had just treated the old master.
During the treatnt, the old master had fallen asleep, and upon waking up, he appeared much more spirited than before, which surprised many people.
Most people were happy, for the old master’s health was their greatest concern. Ling Jinhua was the Pillar of the Ling Family and an important figure in Huaxia. His well-being mattered to many, and his illness had caused widespread anxiety, especially among the senior mbers of the Ling Family; the old master’s improvent and renewed vigor had brought them all relief.
Luo Ziling nodded politely to the group of Ling Family elders gathered in the room, still wearing a smile, before making his way through the path they had cleared for him to Ling Jinhua’s bedside, where he took a seat on a stool.
“Great Grandfather,” Luo Ziling approached the bed and asked with a smile, “How do you feel now? Do you feel like the chill in your body has greatly decreased and you’re feeling warr overall?”
“Indeed, after sleeping, I feel refreshed and clear-headed,” Ling Jinhua chuckled, his voice sounding more robust than before the treatnt, “It seems the Luo Family’s dical expertise is indeed well-deserved. I’ve experienced it once again.”
“Great Grandfather, let take your pulse,” said Luo Ziling, reaching out to Ling Jinhua.
“Alright,” Ling Jinhua agreed promptly, extending his hand to Luo Ziling.

“Dad, Zhengping and Zhengmin make sense,” an elderly woman with graying hair, appearing to be about the sa age as Luo Ziling’s grandmother, stood up and expressed a similar opinion to the two n, “The toxicity and sanitary conditions of homade dicine are unknown, so you shouldn’t take it lightly. Ling Jinhua’s request for Ling Ruonan and Luo Ziling to stay behind and speak with him privately changed many faces, especially Ling Zhengping and his several cousins. They understood this was a special favor Ling Jinhua was showing to Ling Ruonan and Luo Ziling, mother and son.
