Chapter 666: Chapter 666: Heartbroken?

Bantering with Yang Qingyin was always so delightful, and Luo Ziling found himself reluctant to let go.
However, the annoying Yang Qingye called Yang Qingyin to ask if she could leave yet. She ntioned the traffic might get heavy soon and if they got stuck, there was no telling what ti they would get ho. It was then that Yang Qingyin got up from Luo Ziling’s embrace and went to the bathroom to fix her dress and makeup.
When they went downstairs together, Ye Xiaoli, who had been hiding sowhere, suddenly popped out, but she disappeared just as quickly as she had appeared.
Soon, the understated Audi car appeared in front of them. Yang Qingyin smiled at Luo Ziling and said softly, “I should go now, to pick up Qingye. I might not return to campus tonight.”
“Alright then, you go ahead,” Luo Ziling said with a smile, reminding Yang Qingyin, “Don’t be like and get into an argunt at an elder’s birthday party.”

“Maybe I will end up like you,” Yang Qingyin waved her hand and got into the car. After getting in, she popped her head out and asked Luo Ziling, “Are you still going to treat soone’s illness?”
“As long as there’s life, the treatnt never stops,” Luo Ziling didn’t tell Yang Qingyin that he was going to treat Ouyang Feifei, and just made a joke instead.
Yang Qingyin didn’t ask further. After waving to Luo Ziling again, she signaled Ye Xiaoli to drive away.
Just as Yang Qingyin and Ye Xiaoli drove off, Yang Qingye called.
“Brother-in-law, it’s my mom’s birthday today, are you coming with us?” Yang Qingye asked Luo Ziling cautiously, “I suggested it to my sister once, but she rejected the idea. How about you sneakily co with ? You might just impress my dad with your gesture.”
“No, you guys go ahead. I sent a gift with your sister, have her pass it to your mom,” Luo Ziling naturally refused, but he was still grateful to Yang Qingye, so after he declined, he added, “Wish your mom a happy birthday for . Also, if your dad and your sister argue or quarrel during dinner, could you try to diate, please?”
“You don’t need to tell that; I’ll definitely be the buffer between them,” Yang Qingye hesitated for a mont before asking, “Brother-in-law, what about the last issue, any final results?”
“Not yet,” Luo Ziling decided not to inform Yang Qingye of the situation just yet, “I’m having soone investigate it, but it’s uncertain if there will be any results. By the way, did your ex try to contact you again? Or, has anything troubleso happened these past few days?”
“No,” Yang Qingye hesitated before he responded, but he quickly added, “Brother-in-law, I see my sister’s car, I can’t talk now, I’ll discuss this with you face-to-face later.”
“Alright then,” Luo Ziling could only hang up the phone, feeling sowhat helpless.
After he finished treating Ouyang Feifei today, he planned to et with Wang Zhenjun to get a better understanding of the situation and inquire about the progress of the investigation.
Recently, Wang Zhenjun had been busy investigating, while Yang Xiaodong was responsible for his safety.
Luo Ziling knew that when he had left the campus just now, Yang Xiaodong had been discreetly following behind. Even as he was heading towards Ouyang Feifei’s place, Yang Xiaodong had followed, although Luo Ziling hadn’t contacted the guy.
Luo Ziling actually disliked riding in cars and using public transportation like subways. His favorite mode of travel was still walking, as it gave him a sense of freedom.

Luo Ziling would watch them with a pure appreciation, just like admiring a landscape.
High-rise buildings in the city were not the sceneries Luo Ziling enjoyed. He preferred grasslands and snow-capped peaks, along with clear and transparent brooks or rivers. He would frown upon the sight of skyscrapers and those muddy rivers in the city, but seeing groups of won in all kinds of attire forming countless scenic views pleased his eyes—mainly because Ziling rarely saw so many won flouncing before him back in the small mountain village.
Wearing glasses and leisurely walking on the street, there was basically no need to worry about attacks, nor the need to worry about being spotted while watching won, so Luo Ziling walked very casually in a cheerful mood.
But after walking less than a kiloter and still at least four kiloters away from Ouyang Feifei’s place, Luo Ziling’s good mood was disturbed by soone. The person disturbing him was Yang Xiaodong, who was following behind as his bodyguard.
Yang Xiaodong saw Luo Ziling wandering aimlessly on the street after splitting up with Yang Qingyin and thought he had been dumped, so he hurriedly ca up to ask.
“Hey, Young Master Comrade, looking at your disheartened appearance, did your beautiful girlfriend just break up with you?” Yang Xiaodong asked Luo Ziling with a face full of gossip, “She just got into a car and left, leaving you all alone. Did you really break up?”
“What nonsense are you talking about?” Luo Ziling, his mood to watch street beauties ruined by Yang Xiaodong, glared at him irritably, “Don’t jinx it, we’re fine. Where did you get the idea of a breakup?”
“Then why are you wandering the streets in such a dispirited manner?” Yang Xiaodong looked puzzled, “I was even afraid you’d do sothing rash and was about to call the sister-in-law to report the situation!”
“Don’t stir things up,” Luo Ziling couldn’t help but laugh and cry, “I’m fine.”
“Then what are you planning to do?” Yang Xiaodong’s curiosity piqued as he asked again, “Just wandering around aimlessly? Later, Dull Bird is supposed to et with us. He should have discovered sothing very important.”
“Oh?!” Luo Ziling’s eyes lit up upon hearing this, “Has he figured out the situation?”
“I’m not quite sure myself,” Yang Xiaodong shook his head, “He will contact us later, and then, everything will beco clear.”
“Let’s wait for him to contact us before asking,” Luo Ziling signaled Yang Xiaodong not to disturb him as he had things to do.
“I’m just protecting you, I’ll go wherever you go. Otherwise, I’d be failing in my duty,” Yang Xiaodong chuckled and didn’t plan to split up from Luo Ziling, “It’s quite boring to just follow behind you.”
Luo Ziling couldn’t be bothered with him and just went on his way, while Yang Xiaodong hesitated a bit and eventually stayed at a distance.
Luo Ziling stopped looking around at beauties and quickened his pace toward the residential area where Ouyang Feifei lived, hoping to disappear from Yang Xiaodong’s sight while he was being held up by the security guards at the entrance, so that Yang Xiaodong wouldn’t disturb his good ti.
But what Luo Ziling didn’t expect was that, upon reaching the residential area where Ouyang Feifei lived, Yang Xiaodong behind him had caused trouble.
