Chapter 673: Chapter 673: Chasing a Woman and Chasing a Girlfriend are Two Different Things

When Luo Ziling’s hand pressed down, for so reason, he actually pinched.
Ouyang Feifei felt a slight pain, but also a strange sensation.
Even more astonishing was that she didn’t reach out to push Luo Ziling’s hand away.
But Luo Ziling was imdiately startled awake and, upon looking up and seeing his hand on Ouyang Feifei’s chest, he was shocked and hurriedly withdrew it, then rolled off the bed in haste.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t do it on purpose,” Luo Ziling said with a flushed face, then asked with confusion, “How did I end up in your bed?”

“I called you to sleep up here earlier,” Ouyang Feifei said with a blush but managed to keep a calm tone, “I know you didn’t do it intentionally.”
“I was really tired earlier,” Luo Ziling was still very embarrassed but quickly changed the subject, “I have rested well now. You should sleep early today, getting enough rest will help consolidate the treatnt’s effects. I’ll be on my way, call or send a ssage if anything cos up. In three to four days, I’ll co over again to treat you. Judging by the current progress, your illness should be completely eradicated in one or two months. After taking the dicine for a while longer and with other recuperative asures, you should be able to fully recover.”
Having said that, without waiting for Ouyang Feifei’s response, he began to gather his things.
Watching Luo Ziling’s flustered actions, Ouyang Feifei thought this guy was super cute and almost couldn’t help laughing out loud.
However, seeing Luo Ziling pack up his things and imdiately dash out of the room, she felt a bit anxious and quickly called out to him.
“Anything else?” Luo Ziling ran back upon hearing Ouyang Feifei calling him, looking at her with a puzzled face, “What is it?”
“Are you hungry? If you are, I’ll treat you to supper. I’m a bit hungry myself.” Ouyang Feifei felt much better after sleeping for a bit, and combined with Luo Ziling’s earlier stimulation, all her sleepiness had vanished.
“Never mind, I won’t eat, I still have so things to do,” Luo Ziling recalled he had to ask Wang Zhenjun so questions, so he declined Ouyang Feifei’s invitation for supper, “I’ve had soone investigate a few matters, he’s prepared to report to tonight, it’s quite important. Next ti you can treat to supper.”
With that, without waiting for Ouyang Feifei’s response, he quickly went downstairs.
Listening to Luo Ziling’s footsteps descending the stairs and growing distant, Ouyang Feifei couldn’t help feeling both embarrassed and annoyed.
This guy actually refused her invite to supper and fled in panic, leaving her mood spoiled by his escape.
“Despicable guy,” she muttered angrily as she threw a pillow under the bed, “took advantage of and didn’t show any other courtesy before leaving, not a shred of gentlemanly deanor.”
But that was just her venting internally; where could gentlemanly deanor co from at a ti like this?
Ouyang Feifei knew well that if such ambiguous incidents continued, sothing unexpected might just happen between her and Luo Ziling inadvertently. Yet she wasn’t very scared, nor very resistant to such a possibility—in fact, she was sowhat looking forward to it.
Just like a mont ago, she didn’t find Luo Ziling taking advantage of her repulsive—in fact, she was sowhat anticipating that Luo Ziling would do sothing more with her. Although such thoughts were hard to voice, she couldn’t deny them in her heart.
“Could I really be falling for this guy?” she murmured to herself.
Ouyang Feifei imdiately thought of her sister, Ouyang Huihui, and one thing she could be certain of was that Ouyang Huihui’s feelings for Luo Ziling had shifted from disgust to fondness. As an observer, she could see clearly when it ca to others, so she could be absolutely certain of this point.
“If both of us sisters fell for him and ended up fighting over him out of jealousy, that would be going too far,” Ouyang Feifei felt a surge of resentnt at this thought.
She decided right away that she must stop Luo Ziling from getting too close to Ouyang Huihui; she would not allow any emotional entanglent between Ouyang Huihui and Luo Ziling under any circumstances. It was a matter of her dignity and reputation. If Luo Ziling ca knocking to call off the engagent with her and beca involved with her sister instead, where would she put her face as the elder sister?
If Luo Ziling and Ouyang Huihui really did develop a close relationship, or even beca a couple, her image in their circle would completely collapse, and she would beco the laughingstock of many people.
Luo Ziling could never have guessed how complex Ouyang Feifei’s thoughts were. Sweating, he ran out of the villa, called over Yang Xiaodong, who was shalessly pestering Wang Qing, and hurriedly left the place.
Hearing Luo Ziling’s call, Yang Xiaodong bid Wang Qing farewell, who was waiting outside, and followed Luo Ziling out.

I ca today to treat Ouyang Feifei’s illness; she had a minor ailnt that needed my attention, nothing more,” Luo Ziling sternly warned Yang Xiaodong: “Don’t blabber about anything before it’s clear what’s going on. Who you decide to pursue is your freedom; you can do as you please. As long as it doesn’t interfere with business, you can do whatever you want.”
“I didn’t say she was your girlfriend,” Yang Xiaodong said with an indifferent look, “Chasing a woman and pursuing a girlfriend are entirely different concepts.”
Luo Ziling was speechless, not understanding what was on Yang Xiaodong’s mind.
“Such a beautiful woman, if you let her slip through your fingers, I’d be angry,” Yang Xiaodong said with a look of frustration, “If the information I’ve gathered is correct, Ouyang Feifei and your girlfriend are known together as the Yanjing Beauties. Such stunning beauties, if you catch one but let the other go, when you could have them both, I suppose every man in the world would scorn you.”
Luo Ziling wanted to kick Yang Xiaodong flying, what a perspective to have, daring to tempt him into committing a cri.
“If you keep spouting such nonsense, I’ll tell my dad and mom, and have my dad punish you,” Luo Ziling finally resorted to bringing up Luo Xusheng.
The warning proved quite effective, and Yang Xiaodong imdiately shut up, not daring to say another word. However, after leaving the neighborhood, he couldn’t help but mutter again: “Such a beautiful woman, a rare find and so wealthy too; if you let her go, it would truly be a pity for you.”
Seeing Luo Ziling’s annoyed face, he quickly added: “Dull Bird just contacted , let’s find a place to et up with him.”
Only then did Luo Ziling’s expression soften, and he instructed Yang Xiaodong to get in touch with Wang Zhenjun to discuss matters.
However, Yang Xiaodong’s unrestrained words had touched a nerve in Luo Ziling.
But the fleeting thought quickly vanished.
