The pain was sharp... so sharp it felt as though soone were pouring lava straight into my brain.

Bloody hell... that hurts.

I didn’t even understand why this was happening to him. Was all this just because I’d thought about Ethan’s past?

No... that wasn’t it.

There was sothing else... sothing I was on the verge of rembering... on the verge of understanding... but before I could get there— this pain appeared.

As if it were a warning. A warning telling not to think about it again.

But... what was I going to find out anyway?

"Tsk—"

I dug my nails into his head with all my strength, thinking that physical pain might distract from the inferno raging inside my mind.

But the exact opposite happened. The pain intensified. More. And more.

With every passing second. Until my vision beca terrifyingly blurred.

As if the whole world was beginning to lose its shape before my eyes.

Until I felt as though I was about to lose consciousness at any mont.

I bit down hard on my lips. So hard that blood began to flow.

But... the pain in my head wouldn’t stop.

At that mont— I wanted just one thing. For the pain to stop. Even if the price... was anything.

Stop. Stop. Stop. Why the hell won’t this pain go away?

I yanked my hair violently. I had to make it stop...

But how? Then an idea suddenly popped into my head.

Should I... just kill myself? Maybe I’ll finally find peace.

My body swayed slightly.

I would have fallen to the ground had my hand not struck the wall and braced against it at the last mont.

But my vision... was getting worse. So blurry that I could barely see.

I grabbed his hair violently. I even pulled out a few strands without realising it; the pain I felt was unbearable, so much so that I couldn’t even cry. All I wanted was for it to stop, even for a mont.

I moved my head slowly and placed my hand on the wall again. Without thinking,

Boom—!

My head slamd hard against the wall.

My nerves were jolted, and the pain reverberated violently inside my skull...

But the pain at the back of my head—didn’t stop.

Boom—!

I kept banging my head against the wall.

Until blood began to pour down my face, and cracks appeared in the wall.

The drops of blood mingled with my blurred vision, until the world before seed distorted and strange.

My body was swaying. As if it might collapse at any mont.

I could barely make out the voices of the students around .

But I paid them no mind, lifting my head once more.

I was about to bang my head against the wall again.

But— I suddenly felt a hand grip my shoulder from behind.

"Stop! You might hurt yourself if you carry on like this!"

said one of the students in a tense voice.

I couldn’t see his features clearly. But I completely ignored what he said.

I grabbed him slowly... then lifted him slightly without any effort.

And in the next mont— the student fell to the ground.

But, despite that—he got up quickly.

He grabbed with both hands, as if trying to stop by force.

He said in a tense voice:

"You don’t seem to be in your right mind... Please, stop."

Then he stopped suddenly and turned towards the students gathered around us.

"What are you all standing there for?! Soone call a teacher!"

— Crack —

I lunged at him with all my strength.

He staggered backwards quickly, the shock clear on his face, as if he hadn’t expected such a reaction from .

Swoosh—

I spun round quickly— then lunged and jumped straight at him.

I grabbed him violently by the waist, before we both crashed heavily to the ground.

"Ugh—"

A muffled gasp escaped him the mont we collided.

How dare you stop ...?

You bastard... Do you think you know how the hell I feel?

My thoughts were muddled.

Scattered... I was barely holding on to my senses.

I crawled slowly over him, until I was right in front of his face.

Drops of blood were trickling down my forehead, falling onto his face.

I saw him freeze. His expression gradually changed—confusion... then fear.

Even I... didn’t know what I was about to do.

I wasn’t in my right mind at all in that mont.

My body swayed slightly, whilst my voice sounded strange even to my own ears.

"...Why?"

— Boom —

"Hook—!"

A powerful punch landed on his face.

I found myself breathing with great difficulty.

"Why...?"

— Boom —

"Why?"

— Boom —

"Why?!"

— Boom —

I kept hitting him without stopping. Once. Then again.

As if I were trying to smash sothing I couldn’t reach, whilst, with difficulty, I could make out his face through my blurred vision.

Blood covered his features. Whilst his faint, trembling voice barely reached :

"I’m sorry... please... stop..." He gasped with difficulty before continuing: "I was just... trying to help you..."

But I didn’t care. Or perhaps... I was no longer capable of understanding at all.

I raised my hand once more. But this ti—

with great difficulty.

The punch was slow, as if my body had finally begun to break down.

And just before my fist touched his face— I suddenly felt a hand grab from behind.

I turned with difficulty towards whoever had done it— but— my vision suddenly went dark. My body fell forward, before I lost consciousness completely.
