Sparks of blue magic flashed around Arad as he waved the staff and pointed it toward rlin with a smile on his face. [Fire Bolt]
A simple spell, but in the hands of a true dragon with many scales and the staff to boot, his destructive power, the tiny red spark turned back and flew at rlin with enough heat to force her to form seven barriers just to avoid being roasted alive.
The tiny black spark exploded into a massive pillar of crimson flas. Kali had waved her hands and deflected the raging flas away, making sure to protect those behind her from at least turning into ash.
Gamond took on the second part and cooled the air around them. But even while doing that, she looked at Arad and rlin with a worried face. "That was just a firebolt?"
"No, that wasn't just a normal firebolt. I don't know what he did, but the fire erupted more than it should have after contacting rlin's barrier." It took Gamond a second to fully understand what she had seen.
"That's my magic." Salamander spoke with a worried face, "I've only been inside him for a short while, yet he has that much of my magic stored." Her eyes shifted toward Arad's wives, "What are you lot feeding him?"
With sparks of magic and an ear-piercing sound of shattering glass, rlin flew out of the fire as her barriers crumbled, "Impressive flas… But what about this?" She swung her staff, and a bolt of lightning flew at Arad.
Arad released his gravity magic and fell down, avoiding the lightning bolt. But to his surprise, the lightning bolt imdiately shifted its direction, arcing back toward him. He only then realised that the bolt wasn't made from lightning but from pure magic. Explains why it was easier to dodge.
He started pulling his body left and right with gravity magic, dodging the magic bolt until he was facing rlin again. It was then that the smile on his face made her shiver, a voice scread in the back of her head. Fueled only my her instincts, she teleported away. Alcott had warned her thousands of tis about standing directly in front of a dragon, that was just asking it to…
rlin appeared far behind Arad, and the first thing that her eyes saw was a horrifying scene. A cone of the landscape where she was, several kiloters wide, had disappeared as if it didn't exist.
It soon ca, the following shockwave, pulling toward the erased cone. ^A void breath…he sucked that chunk of land into his stomach and now the air is rushing to full the void!^
Everyone watching, especially Matilda, who was just inford about Arad, was looking at the scene in horror. He could be standing in Hati's house and still destroy her ho that was far away. "The hell was that?!" She cried and looked at Selina, who was beside her for answers.
While Matilda was mainly a martial fighter, Selina was a wizard with both talent and skill to match…she should know. But to her surprise… Selina wasn't helpful at all. She sat there, eyes bloodshot, wide open, with sweat rushing down her forehead. She looked even more scared than Matilda herself.
"A void breath…" Altair, who was sitting beside them, spoke with a worried voice, "But…even I couldn't make such a ss. Can't you see it around him?"
Matilda looked at Arad, feeling her heart racing and her limbs growing colder. It was then that she felt it, his eyes shifting toward her. She imdiately looked down, panting as her mind scread, ^DON'T LOOK! DON'T LOOK! DON'T LOOK! DON'T LOOK! DON'T LOOK!^
"Don't stare into the void for too long, or it'll consu you." Altair growled, "He isn't soone the likes of you I can hope to even look in the eyes."
rlin flew upside down and landed right above the area that Arad had just consud with his void breath. She looked at him with a smile. "That was close. I almost ended up inside you."
"Don't worry, you would've been fine." Arad pointed his staff at her, "I didn't expect you to dodge it."
"And I doubt you'd expect that I'm winning." She winked at him as golden chains appeared all around his body and wrapped around him like coiling snakes. Arad looked around, noticing the countless specks of light, those were the shards of rlin's barrier he had shattered earlier with his fla. The chains are coming out of them.
Arad tried to shatter the chains with his raw strength, but it was useless. As expected, those chains are designed to restrain dragons. He could force it, but then he'll have to use enough strength to cause a shockwave that might harm the ones watching. He doesn't doubt Kali's ability to protect them…but with how he almost ended up dead, he can't help but feel it's a bad idea to risk it.
"You're the one who wanted them to watch the fight in person. Said with our magic clashing, it will be impossible to observe the fight with a scrying orb." Arad looked at the smiling rlin, who slowly floated toward him.
"Of course, that was a lie. I needed sothing close to make sure you don't go off the rails." She floated right in front of his face and brushed her fingers on his face. "Now you're mine, all tied up."
"Dragon sealing chains. Great magic, but I'm more than that." Arad chuckled, and she nodded, "Of course, I accounted for your vampire and werewolf side. Those chains are more than enough to keep those curses in check." She leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. "Shall we start?"
"If you want to." Arad hugged her, and she started sweating buckets…the chains had shattered just like that. He was neither a vampire nor a werewolf, but a Pricolici, and the only one of his kind. There is no way rlin would've accounted for that.
rlin now found herself stuck in his bear hug, unable to escape. "Can you…please let go?"
"For free? No way." He replied and she could feel his hand clenching on her butt.
"Not here…" She gasped, and he giggled, "Give your hat." He lifted his hand up and snatched her wizard hat and put it on.
He released rlin and floated back, mana flickering around her body. Her hair danced with the wind as she looked at him, trying her hat on. "So this is your plan? Slowly shave all of my magic items?"
"No, I'm peeling you off like a banana, or an artichoke." He looked at her with a smile, "Now that you know that getting close to is a bad idea. What will you do?"
"Stay away." She swung her staff, and a horrifying wave of mana rushed out of her body. Several spells, similar to each other but all different. Countless gates erged behind rlin's back.
So of the gates were purple, swirling with demonic magic, the others were red and burned with hellfire, and so even flashed with a divine golden light.
[Summon Demon]
[Summon Fiend]
[Summon Celestial]
From those gates, countless creatures marched out, all ready for war. The first of them to open his mouth was a devil; he had just walked out of a red gate and noticed the other gates. "By Asmodeus's left nipple! The hell is going on here?!" He gasped, and an angel who had just walked out of a golden gate looked at him.
The angel growled, "SHIT! Is this another one of Yog's jokes…" And he imdiately got jolted by a divine smile out of the heavens.
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" A large, ten-ter-tall, muscular demon with six goat heads scread like a terrified little girl. The mont he walked out of the gate and looked down he spotted Kali, and almost shat himself.
"Shut up!" rlin's voice shocked their minds like a lightning strike, "He is your target. Buy ti." It was just then that they realised that all of them had been summoned by her magic. And there were at least a hundred of each kind.
Arad stopped using gravity magic and fell to the ground, landing on his feet. The ground beneath him shattered on impact, and all of the summoned creatures stared at him. That was their target.
"It's just one bloody man! Hells?" One of the devils stared at rlin, "Why summon us all here? You gone crazy?"
"If Yog allowed us to be brought here… don't underestimate him. Hey, human. Which god do you believe in?" An angel asked, and Arad imdiately replied, "None."
"FUCKING HERETIC!" The angels all roared like bees.
On the other hand, all of the demons started charging their demonic magic, trying to impress Kali, who wasn't that far away.
Arad slightly adjusted his new wizard hat with a grin on his face, "Look at all of you. You really aren't taking this seriously." He lifted one hand, "But… my wife wasted mana to summon you here…so DO YOUR JOB!" His palm burned with gravity magic, and all of them were forced to the ground in the blink of an eye.
Arad swung his staff and took a stance. "You'd better last long enough for her to charge whatever spell she is working on. Otherwise, I'll skin you alive."
